Might be in the minority here but there's no way i'd trade Breust for pick 13.

He could play another 5 years and he'll provide the team with at least 30 goals a year for the remainder of his career, pick 13 will blow out to what-pick 16? A player who's no guarantee to play 20 games..

The time to look at offers for Breust were in his free agency year but it's not worth it now

I've said plenty of times before that Breust is showing all the signs of a player that could play good quality footy well into his 30's.

If he's struggled recently it's only because as a small forward his output is intrinsically linked to the input from further up the ground. That's improving and we'll soon see a Breust renaissance.

Pick 13 would be acceptable. But I'm happy to keep him at that price also. Actually more than happy given he feels so strongly about staying. Exactly the kind of quality individual you want around a younger list.

Super hard for media at the moment. They can't rely on seeing who's talking to who, or who's just walked into a room together to discuss a trade.

Plus Edmund just seems to report on things 2 minutes after they've broken and pretend like he had the same info all along.

It can be a little frustrating when you’re trying to rebuild but no one wants to leave. Strong culture is good but they’ll need to show this on the field next year.

Maybe the senior players are excited about what Sam is bringing to the table? I guess the only problem with that is, is that they’re all a little old and it’s very much still Clarko’s team.

This might very well be a ‘wait and see’ scenario.

Just worry by keeping all of these players, we will miss out on elite draft prospects, how many top 5 or top 10 picks do we have? (need at least 5 more)

If we don't access this draft in bunches, this process can drag into 5 years.
