If all of Hobbs, Ward, and Erasmus are still there then maybe he is. If Hobbs is gone, Richmond take him with our pick. If Erasmus is gone, Freo has signaled a bit of interest and might take him at 6. Have to wait and see on draft night, but Richmond will know if those three are free one of them will make it to 7 as well and I don't know if they give up much to trade up.

I'm not sure I understand the rationale of upgrading a rookie unless this was promised prior to/during trade week to avoid said rookie departing.
You can only live trade picks for which you have places on the list free. So we can trade 6 picks. If we promote rookies before the draft it gives less flexibility. I think it very likely we won’t take 6 and that we have promised players we will promote them following the draft pending picks etc.

If we go for Sinn then hopefully we can bluff Freo or Richmond into trading down slightly, bring in pick 7 or 8 and turn one of our second rounders into their late firsts.
