Hi all, just a query about Rosas Jnr. He is OOC at the end of the year - what is the feeling at the suns on him as he came in with high wraps

Has good pace and is an okay crumber, is significantly to weak at the AFL level at the moment and his kicking isn't great as he doesn't plant his feet right so his kicks are very hit and miss

i think most of what you hear is pushed by managers or agents and mostly noise....I back our recruitment guys to be aiming high atleast and trying their best... we were close to Kennedy last year apparently from WCE and no one had a clue that was happening....

Not sure on his contract but he's in the VFL side for this week's game against Aspley.....I think it's his 2nd game but I could be wrong.

Played 2 vfl games so far.
10 touches 5 marks, 3 tackles and a goal Vs aspley
16 touches 5 tackles vs gws.

Looks big and classy. Think he’ll be a player.


Doubt either party would have even considered contract extension whilst he was in the rehab group. Think we’ll see him extend next year after a decent pre season and hopefully a few afl games.

He's currently holidaying on the Gold Coast (which obviously means he likes it here) and will line up for the Bombers at the Southport Sharks tomorrow. He's 31 years old so it's not a long term solution but if he's anything like his former self then it would be a massive upgrade to our backline.

Would be a fantastic coup for the Suns
Rance is a great role model and leader as well as being a great defender and Will be like having an onfield coach
Suns would be crazy not to be doing everything possible to attract him over. Then convince Astbury to come for 1-2 years and the defence will be well looked after with the young boys learning from these 2 guys.

I was just about to suggest something like this - follow in the Hodge/Birchall mould. Would take a bit of heat off Collins/Ballards' shoulders while imparting a bunch of knowledge... and not to mention poor Rory too (coming up three years since he's played, just heartbreaking)

The midfield spot we use Weller (Speed, clean, low possession, no tackles, no marks), thats where Narkle would be an upgrade on. Both the same size
