Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
So do I tbh. Draft pick number is generally overrated and especially if they are picking the wrong talent. Looking forward to draft picks means the club is one step closer to Carlton's path.I find it very hard to get excited about getting a wooden spoon..sorry
Nothing questionable about it. Just Nicksy being NicksyOur game against North in R23 might end up being the Horne cup.
Could be some questionable selections and tactics in that game lol.

theres still every chance we finish bottom. If we do get pick 1 (which we won’t), I hope we bid for Darcy before Daicos. WB can EAD.
I for one look forward to our starting R23 midfield of Butts, Strachan & Murray roving to Parnell’s taps, while Rowe and Newchurch perform lockdown roles on Larkey & Zurhaar.
If we win against the Hawks then it wont matter as we will be 2 games above them. Our game against North in R23 might end up being the Horne cup.

Is Horne allowed to say before the draft that he doesn’t want to leave South Australia, or is that only allowed for Victorian players?
Perhaps we do need to have a crack at Weidemann from the Dees?
meh... who cares about horne anyway.. in fact if he goes anywhere I’d rather it be the hawks. he’ll play his entire career there.. if he goes to North he’ll more likely be back home and at port two years later.Yeah Hawthorn are the real danger here. They look shot. With their run home I’d suprised if they win another game for the year. Still have to play the Dees, Dogs, Brisbane, Richmond and us in Adelaide.

he wasnt a happy camper a couple of times in that sanfl game against us on the weekend.. first he got pretty pissed off when fog rubbed his head into the turf and then later he had a go at worrell for a turnover that resulted in a goal to souths and was instantly set apon and roughed up again by a few of our boys..
looked like he ain't too much of a fan of the crows... looked like a bit of spite involved in those moments..
This year is starting to play out like last year* compromised season so who cares about this season now and if we finish bottom. GWS has already lost 2 "home" games to bottom 4 teams when they played them so they are now out of final contention. Now both Sydney and GWS will be in a hub, if they are there for the entire season the Saints will take Sydney's spot in the 8.Disgraceful people here wanting another spoon for some kid who hasn't proven anything
yeah, I agree that the horne train is a bit over hyped. dont get me wrong, he looks a player.Disgraceful people here wanting another spoon for some kid who hasn't proven anything

but that said, I still couldn't give a sh*t if we ended up with another spoon. we’ve shown some good signs this year.
the spoon wouldnt just mean we get the best available player, be that horne or someone else, it also means your second rounder is more valuable (especially if they go back to holding the draft over two days again) and pick 1 in the Main draft also means pick 1 in the Rookie draft and, more importantly, the PSD..
pick one in the PSD can be used as a threat when negotiating trades for ooc players like Stephens, CCJ etc if we are keen for them.. definitely gives you a strong advantage in a trade negotiation.
Koschitzke will win the game off his own boot against us.Yeah Hawthorn are the real danger here. They look shot. With their run home I’d suprised if they win another game for the year. Still have to play the Dees, Dogs, Brisbane, Richmond and us in Adelaide.
So WB finish top 8 last year, and top 4 this year, yet will still get access to pick one both years? If we do get pick 1 (which we won’t), I hope we bid for Darcy before Daicos. WB can EAD.

What a rort of a system.......
At Half time of the WC v North game they said that North will 100% bid on Daicos and Darcy before selecting Horne with pick 3 then showed highlights of Horne.
North are not trading this pick, the pipe dream of Adelaide drafting Horne needs to end. Just like when Luko and Rankine were out of reach. Time to focus energy on who will be available to us to select.
