WA more skilful than the SA boys is my take so far.

SA's 15 year old Will Patton impressive, Verrall disappointing.
Verrall has been a bit clumsy - maybe trying to do too much.

Only caught the last quarter but here's the winning goal snap by Keeler.

If we can't get Keeler (thanks bl**dy FL ) there seem to be a few other interesting talls around.

Arlo Draper back to the U18's again dominant 30 disposals, 20 kicks, 10 handballs, 9 clearances, 4 marks, 5 tackles, 7 i50's, 1 goal.

Pity Luke Mitton wasn't 10 - 15 cms taller or he'd be very draftable.
Why wouldn’t they continue to play him in reserves once they gave him exposure ? Find that odd given he apparently played well . Playing 18s not doing any favours

I think we'll let South Adelaide do whatever they think is best!

Somewhat forgotten top line midfield prospect Ben Hobbs returned to footy after a quite a long lay off due to injury incurred very early in the season, came back with a real BANG! in the GWV Rebels big win over the Murray Bushrangers. 34 disposals, 19 kicks, 15 handballs, 3 marks, 9 tackles, 2 goals.

Reckon he's the type of mid Nicksy really likes, a real hard nut, highly contested ball winner with a good all round game.
Certain to be a starting midfielder in Vic Country's assault on the National Championships.
Can he run and can he kick though ? Also can he play multiple positions as we need all of that

Tough as teak, not too many mids in this draft that can win their own ball better than Ben Hobbs, not slow, decent tank and a good all round game, only thing Horne has over him IMO is superior aerial ability. You'll see for yourself next month where he's odds on to be a starting mid for Vic Country as hopefully the Nationals will go ahead.

Yeah, it'd be good to add two to three midfield pieces this year, because the talls look alright for next year.

Hobbs is criminally underrated. Should be in the conversations along with the VIC best. He's AA Under 19 material comfortably.

Missed the Under 17's game yest v WA, hopefully a replay gets put up somewhere. No surprises with D'Aloia being best for SA, he's that level above the rest.

Anybody that has actually seen Ben Hobbs play live over his time at the Rebels wouldn't underrate him. ;)

I think it's going to be a big draft for the Rebels this year, Ben Hobbs, Josh Gibcus and Sam Butler certainties, Charlie Molan, Sam Breur, Kai Lohmann, Blake Scott, James Ballantyne and Josh Rentsch all in contention. Even 19 year old Fraser Maris might be a rough chance.

Liked the look of some of the U16's that played too Jack Delean, Will Patton and Tom Wheaton all showed they've got plenty of talent.
