Squiggle tips Saints at 51% chance -- What's your tip? -- Team line-ups »
Toby GreeneSo everything I read here - they are essentially describing a young Robbie Gray
Well it sounds like if we just take the pick 4 - we have some nice talent there to select from so it should be hard to balls the pick upToby Greene
I reckon Jamie Elliott is the best comparison for himToby Greene
Hey Hamish...Well the good news if the club feels the same is that Goater is an almost certainty to be there at pick 4 so should be ours
Mate, if you had Rachele, Dawson, Sholl and Schoenberg delivering into the forward line instead of Crouch, Sloane, Seedsman and Laird. I would estimate that we would probably be taking 50-100 more marks inside 50 per season (2-5 per game).I’m on board with Rachele- can’t have enough damaging players, and in this rare case I also give some weight to ‘leadership’ because being damaging is not much good unless there’s also ample determination.
Pick 1 or 2 I'd say. They have a LOT to throw at it. Don't think they will get pick 1 (although an offer of 7, 15 next years 1st and some later swaps would be VERY hard to turn down). Could be very tempting to GWS though.
X factor is definitely not an issue with RacheleWhat X-Factor ? ......you're seeing something I aint
He’s alot more explosive than Robbie Gray including the overhead stuffSo everything I read here - they are essentially describing a young Robbie Gray
Leek Alleer in the top 10? That would be one of the biggest all-time bolts if it came to fruition. My guess is that GWS don't trade that pick unless it's something ridiculous from Richmond.
A spanner in the works might also be the presence of draft bolter Leek Aliir in the top 10
Will be interesting to hear from eDPS on where he thinks he might go after those combine numbers on the weekend.
And is it just me or does Knightmare's draft rankings seem all over the shop?
Agree re Hobbs and WardHobbs, Ward, Rachele, Darcy .....all potential good players, but X-Faactor ? .....a hugely overused term ...like superstar also is
Callaghan, Andrew, Goater have some real X-Factor
Yep - he’s got a good leap. Better get him top 10 Ha haLeek Alleer in the top 10? That would be one of the biggest all-time bolts if it came to fruition.
Like a Fields of Omagh in the 2006 Cox Plate level of Bolting!

20-year-olds never go top 10. It'd be an unprecedented move if it happens, I can't see it. Especially with his kicking flawsI'm calling it. He's a bit more developed that other kids and still has a high ceiling.
Clubs will be looking at his leap and seeing several positional needs that could be filled. Looks very versatile as a KPP/Ruck

I think you may be alone on this one. He's got some nice strings to his bow, but I don't think he goes top 10. TBH I don't see him going in the first round.I'm calling it. He's a bit more developed that other kids and still has a high ceiling.

My thoughts exactly. Already a year behind his peers. And thats before he takes the time he will need to clean up his disposal.20-year-olds never go top 10. It'd be an unprecedented move if it happens, I can't see it. Especially with his kicking flaws
Without the unsightly tatts for his entire career I hope.I reckon Jamie Elliott is the best comparison for him
X-Factor is too freely used ......Crouch & Tom Mitchell getting 35 possessions doesn't mean they have X-Factor .....it also doesn't mean they aren't good playersI guess X-Factor is in the eyes of the beholder.

It’s understood Adelaide is keeping tabs on Murray Bushrangers’ Josh Rachele – an electric, uber-talented forward-midfielder at 180cm blessed with goalkicking nous and x-factor. Clubs have been impressed with how Rachele has interviewed, too.
Draft Central
DRAFT PROJECTION: 6-12
SUMMARY:
Rachele is a player who, at his best, has top five potential. As the leading small forward in this year’s cohort, his stocks will be boosted even further and he will likely tempt clubs inside the top 10. Work rate and consistency are essential in the modern game, but can easily be developed in an elite environment. Rachele will be drafted based on what he does so well, and there are plenty of traits which fans will quickly come to enjoy. He’s a bums-on-seat type of talent, and one capable of pulling off what others simply cannot.

7. Josh Rachele
Murray Bushrangers/Vic Country | Forward/Midfielder
11/04/2003 | 180cm | 78kg
NAB League: 4 games | 18.5 disp | 2.7 goals
Rachele is unique in his highlight-reel play combined with best-in-class leadership. The powerful small-medium forward plays above his height with gravity-defying aerial exploits, and weaves his way through trouble with ball in hand to snap freakish goals. He also pushes through the midfield and bursts through packs with serious power. All of that makes him a bonafide top pick, but what solidifies it is his huge character and clubman attitude. He is as likely as anyone in this pool to captain an AFL team.

Murray Bushrangers/Vic Country
Rachele is the best pure small forward in this year's draft, but has also proved he can go into the midfield and make things happen around him. The Murray Bushrangers prospect is an exciting attacking option who reads the ball well in the air, goes for his marks and also can stay on the ground and take the crumbs. He likes kicking goals and there's perhaps a bit of Western Bulldogs youngster Cody Weightman in the way he can do things usually not expected of the smaller types. He kicked six goals in a game for the Bushrangers this year in his best NAB League outing.

13. Josh Rachele (Murray Bushrangers/Vic Country)
Forward/midfielder, 180cm, 78kg
An explosive and dangerous forward/midfielder, Rachele produces magic in the forward 50 with his ability to kick goals from all angles. Likened to Giants dynamo Toby Greene, Rachele performed strongly in the Victorian trial and Challenge matches for Vic Country and kicked six goals in his final NAB League game of the season.
Dan says: Rachele’s highlights reel is going to be something to behold. His midfield traits – which he showcased in taking out the Kevin Sheehan Medal as MVP at the U16 carnival – can’t be forgotten, either. Rate him as a top-ten choice.
Good comparisonI reckon Jamie Elliott is the best comparison for him
Leek Alleer more likely to fall around our 2nd pick #3320-year-olds never go top 10. It'd be an unprecedented move if it happens, I can't see it. Especially with his kicking flaws
You're the one saying Rachele has no X-Factor, many that have watched quite a bit think he does have X-Factor i.e. he can do things most good footballers can't do on top of having an all round excellent skill set. Unlike a lot of draftees he has no weaknesses in his skill set other than he can drop in and out of games at times which is not a skill set anyhow.X-Factor is too freely used ......Crouch & Tom Mitchell getting 35 possessions doesn't mean they have X-Factor .....it also doesn't mean they aren't good players
Does Ollie Wines, who won the Brownlow have X-Factor ......of course he doesn't
Re Rachele, recent experience is if the media are associating us with a player this far out ....then they're guessing
We are a closed shop re our Draft Picks ......very little has leaked in the past
You're more the odd man out here on what is the general consensus re Rachele not me.
