McCrystal is going to be hard to replace.Haggis & Steve McCrystal vs Simon Dalrymple & Kinnear Beatson....Some very, very experienced recruiters there.
Also , I reckon be good for them to have a new set of eyesMcCrystal is going to be hard to replace.

I hear Matt Rendell is still without a regular AFL JobAlso , I reckon be good for them to have a new set of eyes
Should stay that way, he's sold out.I hear Matt Rendell is still without a regular AFL Job
...and have been absolved as well? It used to be the Lutheran Church of Australia's head office!
And I'd be fine with taking him back on as a Victorian scout, seemed to work fine with Hamish in the past....if he can keep his big yapper under control and work within our recruiting team's constraints.I hear Matt Rendell is still without a regular AFL Job
Well then some serious sin has been committed in that building....and have been absolved as well? It used to be the Lutheran Church of Australia's head office!
Yeah, both sin and absolution. Orthodox or Confessional Lutherans hold to yet distinguish between something called law and gospel. I will leave it to the readers of this forum to do their own searches if at all interested.Well then some serious sin has been committed in that building.

I’d say most clubs would struggle with him , they work as teams and not sure how he would fit in with a modern day team dynamic especially while not being the bossI hear Matt Rendell is still without a regular AFL Job
All of that but if he pulled his head in his talent identification and experience is nothing to be sneezed at, surely he'd have to cottoning on that he would need to keep a low profile if he was to be employed by an AFL club again?I’d say most clubs would struggle with him , they work as teams and not sure how he would fit in with a modern day team dynamic especially while not being the boss
Leopards and spots etc etc.All of that but if he pulled his head in his talent identification and experience is nothing to be sneezed at, surely he'd have to cottoning on that he would need to keep a low profile if he was to be employed by an AFL club again?
A lot of the Club Scouts are only "weekend" scouts nowadays especially since Covid. He’s 62, he might not be looking for full time work?

Don't think he would be getting great money for his media work either?
I remember thinking in his first few AFL games that he was just struggling with the speed of the game and he'd get used to it, but yea, just had no awareness of what was going on around him, especially with the ball in hand. Was a certain to get caught HTB a lot of the time.If I could summarise in one word a major difference between Taylor and Poholke, it is awareness. Taylor has this in spades. For Poholke it was all but non existent. Really looking forward to watching Taylor develop and see what he brings in a few years time.
He pretty consistently mentioned Wanganeen-Milera with Rachele and a few other players as guys they rated. Not saying he was on par with Rachele on the talent list, but he certainly wasn't afraid to state he rated him and not massively surprised to hear we'd of done that if Rachele was gone. Was interesting to hear Hamish Ogilvie say if Rachele was picked by Gold Coast, we would've traded down to get Wanganeen-Milera. Suggests Rachele was, in Hamish's views at least, a tier above the next group of players, so hopefully we've got a player from Group A.
Heard today the player Hamish said he would be keeping tabs on into the future Lachlan Carrigan who they really rated but couldn't pick at the time due to him having not played in close 2 years is training with Richmond's VFL team and will be using that opportunity to hopefully catch the attention of AFL recruiters.Hamish in an interview he did just prior to the draft said they really rated Sandy Dragon Lachlan Carrigan but couldn't pick him because due to Covid and then injury it was 2 years since he'd played other than 2 impressive pre-season trial games in 2020. He'll be back next year as an over-ager so it will be interesting to see how he goes, great size 190cm and an athletic outside runner.
Lachlan Carrigan - The dashing Dragon no longer flying under the radar
LACHLAN Carrigan has enjoyed a steep rise in draft stocks this year, and he hasn’t even registered an official game of footy. The Sandringham Dragons speedster is a prospect billed with the increasingly popular buzzword, ‘upside’. A December birth, Carrigan is one of the youngest top-agers...central.rookieme.com
