Watching a bit of the SA v Allies game on this morning and Roberts looks very early Daniel Hanneberry ish. Really solid ball player. Wouldn't be disappointed if we picked him
I wouldnt be disappointing if we got both Long & Knevitt with our 2 2nd rounders
certainly an area of need.

Reckon we need an elite small forward. Ours suck.

Either than or draft Sinn and pushYep. Spot on. Josh Rochelle is the best in the draft, he’s mercurial but plays more like a medium forward. He will be available at 9 and should be about that range. If all the top quality mids are gone and we can’t move down, would you be happy with him?

Hobbs is too slow for AFL footy. Has no speed leaving the contest. Another Corey Ellisin the making I reckon.PLAYERCARDSTART17Corey Ellis

That would be a great haul. Maybe one too many KPP - would rather a mid at 28 - given it seems no one really rates the talls in this draft. Although I do like the name Jack Williams, he really sounds like a real KPP.If we end up with 7 15 17 26 & 28 in the draft here is my current preferred options for each pick.
7 - Ben Hobbs 183cm 80kg Inside Midfielder
The kid just knows how to get first hands on the footy and when put in an AFL system should only improve on that. Would be a nice 1-2 punch alongside the bigger RCD at the coalface and would also allow the likes of Graham Ross & Dow to play more of a hybrid role.
15 - Jacob Van Rooyen 195cm 91kg KPP
With Chol and CCJ departing there is a glaring hole as a young developing KPF. Van Rooyen already has a decent size about him and has shown he can hit the scoreboard with consistency. Would be a perfect foil for Lynch when Jack moves on.
17 - Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera 187cm 70kg Outside Midfielder
NWM provides that touch of class on the outside that would have Lynch & Jack/JVR quite excited as they led up to the ball carrier. A little on the skinny side, we've got time to allow him to hit the gym and put on some size. With the likes of the Riolis Bolton Stack Pickett Parker as mentors the kid would have plenty of support around him.
26 - Rhett Bazzo 195cm 81kg KPD
With our current KPD stocks being an aging Tarrant Balta Miller (1 game) & Nyoun (0 games) I think it's important to bring in another young option that we can develop over the next couple of years for when Tarrant retires. Bazzo is a capable shutdown defender, who can also take intercept marks as well.
28 - Jack Williams 195cm 91kg KPF
From 15 games at WAFL colts level Williams kicked 40.24 while averaging 14 disposals & 6 marks a game. Alongside Van Rooyen it would be a similar tactic to what the Hawks did with Buddy and Roughy all those years ago when they brought in a couple of young KPPs to develop even though they still have some serviceable types running around.
If we could some how manage to pick up these 5 our mini rebuild/refresh will be in great shape as we would have addressed a number of areas that are currently big weaknesses in terms of our developing talent.
And the slowest 2 minutes of highlights they were too...seem to take ages...Based off of 2 minutes of highlights?

Agree with most of these apart from Hobbs who I need to see more of. I have Amiss and Burgoyne in the mix as wellIf we end up with 7 15 17 26 & 28 in the draft here is my current preferred options for each pick.

Not impressed with JR?Reckon we need an elite small forward. Ours suck.
In those 2 minutes he didnt show onxe any capacity to scoot away out of a contest. For me the first 3 or 4 metres to be able to get away from the contest are vital. He doesnt seem to have it. He looks like a plodder at the moment.
Good he usually tells us exactly what we're going to doMathew clarke on ch7 sport shortly.
With ...7..15..17? If we get the dogs first ? ..on top of this I'd also like to keep 26 and grab Bazzo if he's still available ...and he could well be ...Ward......Roberts /Sonsie/ Goater .......Van Rooyen.......and Bazzo ...yep I'd sleep well that nightWard
Roberts
Van Rooyen

I can see us drafting Hobbs and the club putting out their own highlight tape and us creaming our pants haha
And pick 40 for CCJ.So channel 7 reckon we're looking at Gibcus
Because we are. At least we were according to GrockadocSo channel 7 reckon we're looking at Gibcus
