Hobbs is too slow for AFL footy. Has no speed leaving the contest. Another Corey Ellis in the making I reckon.

Not sure - if a player is good enough in traffc eg Pendles, libba, viney?, even prestia - dusty isn't known for his speed either - then there'll always be a place for the in and unders to get the ball out to the outside. The key is to not have too many of them and have have the good outside runners to compliment. Theres not too many players that can do both and we probably lack that first possie / hard ball winner

He has all the tricks and just needs to add 10-12kgs speed , leap , agility and can read the ball off the boot
Im sure he will grow another 2-3 cm so the prototype backman

Balta / Biggie / Gibcus / Miller thats alot of size , agility and speed in defence

With the strong hands, 1v1 ability, reading of the flight, athleticism & leap he sounds a little bit like a player that’s nearing the end of his champion career that needs an understudy to impart his wisdom upon.

Wonder how his footy smarts stack up Has the potential to be another Naughton. Pretty sure like most talls he has played at both ends of the ground

Not necessarily. Callahan to Adelaide, Ward to Hawthorn, Erasmus to Fremantle. But as I said, the order and who picks where will decide things.

For sure. I would love mids and more mids for the short term but then I look at the key position stocks for the future and they're light on too.

The list needs long term help in multiple areas so best available.
