Nope he was on Geelongs list and was very unlucky to be delisted under circumstances where he would probably have been kept in normal circumstances.
Having been on a list and delisted makes him an automatic F/A just like Chol.

I just love Wanganeen-Milera. His upside is huge. At 188cm he is already a great height. He has fantastic vision and good evasiveness and speed. He is a beautiful kick as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes very very early.

He looks great. I’m still amazed Terry Milera was rooting birds at 14yo.

I actually dreamt about the draft last night.

We picked some defensive tall with 7 and commentary was Richmond had along with Balta the best defensive combo since Southby And Doull. 15 we picked some dude named 'Emily Williams'.

Anthony Hudson said we were scraping the bottom of the barrel..it was not a restful nights sleep...

First round having its own night sounds good in theory but our draft doesn’t have the hype of the nfl draft, reckon it should go back to just the 1 night

It doesn't seem we went too hard for dogs pick 17 and my guess is we are likely to do a pick swap with North and needing some of these later picks to do a deal, for example, CJ, pick 28 and 47 for Tarrant, pick 20 and 40 and (maybe a future pick).

I can't see North parting with pick 20 now that they missed on the GC deal for 19. They have pick 1, then 50-something from memory, with nothing in-between. For a rebuilding side like North, you'd think they'd be hellbent on keeping another decent pick on top of pick 1, and not sure they'd even consider sliding back those 8 spots. More chance of getting next year's 2nd off them, with us sending back one of our later picks for this year IMO.

I read an article in the age suggesting that North and Richmond are attempting to work through a three way trade with the Dogs for us to secure pick 17, the Dogs to get the picks they need and for North to move down the draft order so we get their pick 20. Not sure when this was written but it gave me hope.

In the country unsure if he even wants to be a professional footballer let alone put in the work to get there

There is a kid with our indigenous program Alan O’Neill who they believe will be a gun
Think he is 16 so maybe next year or year after we will need to bid on as he will go in top 20 probably higher

We won’t get access to him if he’s that good. This year if an NGA gets bid on in the first 20 picks you can’t match, from picks 21 too 40 you match like normal after that you just use your next available pick to get them.

Next year it’s worse no matching in the first 40 picks with normal matching after that.

No word on 2023 but I imagine it’s going to be worse again. Afl trying to phase out NGAs.

Hobbs is no way near worth pick 7 he will be there at 15 better players for me in the draft.I think it's a smokescreen for us all this talk.

Makes 0 sense to release the name of who we are after, whoever did would have Balmey to deal with. Recall 2 yrs ago the media had us going for Stocker (who we didn't even rate, Blooze even traded up to "steal" him from us. x2 on the smokescreen chatter, Clubs keen on Hobbs would have to take him before our pick so it increases our chances for a slider.

I agree 100%. I know it's Covid times but the games leading up to the Draft need to be on FTA so everyone gets an idea who these kids are etc.
