51-60 has 15 x players who’ve played 70+ games. and 8 who’ve played 90+. 31-40 has just 9 who’ve played 70+ and 4 at 90+.

I realise this isn’t taking into account B&F’s and AA’s etc…. but as a large data set it’s fairly compelling that 31-40 should not be valued much higher than 51-60. So if trading for a future 2nd, it really needs to come from a likely bottom-8 club if we plan to use it in the draft.

Do you have the game stats for players recruited of height in centimetres from first year and the average heights of each band drafted?

Charlie Curnow is seen as a better player than his brother but his brother has played a lot more games. Ed is shorter, Charlie first round, Ed a rookie

Melbourne are not in the middle of their window, they are just starting their window.

Runs on the board years ago count for zip going forward. Houli and co are not going to help us in 2022 and beyond apart from rule changes

True, hence why I said we are nearing the end of our window and ill stand by a healthy Richmond can challenge the dees.
Houli? don't think anyone thinks had he played on he would be the difference, rioli, short, stack etc can easily play that running half-back role.

Anyway, as stated I answered a question regarding the past, 2020 Richmond V 2021 Dees.

Some need to cool the jets on Melbourne, saying the next dynasty team who the heck knows, dogs won 2016 and were nowhere to be seen for 5 years.
The same with the Eagles post 2018. I was happy for the Dees after 57 years but let's see if they can back it up.

Leaving it there :thumbsu:

No, but I’ve kept a dossier on what they ate for breakfast during their draft year and also what shoe size they are if that might help … [emoji12]

Three picks in a row is very tantalizing.

I think we paid overs for Pick 27, but looking at next year, we may only take 3 selections (our first, North second and our second) so fair enough although, that pick is a good asset for future trading. Not totally happy or unhappy, but now can look forward to draft night with us being the big players.
