He reminds me of AAron Fiora lol.
Gold coast have pick 3By the sounds of that GWS are going to take Andrew at pick 2. Which will push Callaghan to Adelaide at 3 I would be guessing. Interesting they have Rachele in the top bracket of players and not Hobbs, or ward.
We'll take Gibcus and the melts will be epicGold coast have pick 3
Fin at GC and Rachele to Crows. Freo will pick both West Australians do not repeat the go home factor.
Hawks pick Ward for sure

Conca 2.0We'll take Gibcus and the melts will be epic
I read that very differently.
GWS want the best player they can get, who fits in with their squad. Callaghan is more outside and forward, and possibly a bit unlike their mainly see ball get ball midfield. Gibcus = a KPD that they will need a few years. Rachele pure talent to improve their ability to score without dominating the midfield (like Greene without the stupidity). Andrew = future ruck forward with sky high potential.
I'd read that article as saying they are likely to go for the player that can fill a hole in their list. Right here and now I'd guess that Callaghan is that guy. For the future the other 3 come in. To me if they select Callaghan that frees them up to move on another midfielder (or 2) in a trade (or 2). GWS has options most other clubs don't.
What they really need is a genuine mature top end KPF - which isn't what they can draft. So look at both their current list and what they can do into the future.
I don't get this post at all. Are you saying that Conca was the standout mid in his draft year? Remembering that Swallow, Gaff, Heppell, Caddy & Prestia were all selected early.Conca 2.0
only reason he is so high up is that he is the only key defender that has stood out this year and perhaps in other years he is a pick in the 20's
Absolutely nothing alike and a crazy comparison imoI don't get this post at all. Are you saying that Conca was the standout mid in his draft year? Remembering that Swallow, Gaff, Heppell, Caddy & Prestia were all selected early.
Or are you comparing Conca to Gibcus playing style?
Gibcus athleticism is off the charts, intercept defenders are so valuable in today's game and he is well worthy of a top 10 selection.

Copy. That makes sense now.Responding to the post i quoted as SumTingWong said there would be melts on the forum if we took Gibcus
Like the melts when we took conca on this board.
Also i personally think Gibcus is overrated and the recruitment overrated Conca .. so that would be the only comparison i would make player for player
I would happily take Gibcus with #9Copy. That makes sense now.
I wouldn't mind Gibcus if Hobbs and Ward are gone. Then use the 4 other picks on midfielders.
That's bullshit he ain't no guruFrom Knightmare draft guru
Pick 61 - St Kilda - Charlie Dean
Fothergill-Round-Mitchell Medalist for the VFL most promising. Love his resilience, seen as a potential first round pick heading into 2019, he goes undrafted but continues putting in the work and improving his craft and has a terrific year in the VFL this season. Strong 1v1, good intercepter, sound skills. He's a ready-to-go key defender and one of the VFL's very best. Also as a teacher at Wesley College
I really hope we're in to him , but our last pick at 30 maybe to early.
I think our defense is the strongest department. Could take one of the WA boys and strong arm the dockers into giving us pick 8 and a future 2ndCopy. That makes sense now.

I'd be happy too forgo pick 7 this year to be honest. It seems its likely you could get the same result with a player in the teens as you would from pick 5 onwards.Conca 2.0

Not from me, would be a great get if he falls. We'll take Gibcus and the melts will be epic
Nor from me… I have no idea if he’s any good or notNot from me, would be a great get if he falls.

I’m okay with taking Gibcus, however, if It is based on faith in RCD then we better pick a midfielder as RCD is bog ordinary and is not going to be a gun.If you believe in rcd - all the more reason to take Andrews / gibcus
If they are still on the board
If we are deadset on midfielders with all of the second rounders and reckon one or two could push for senior selection quickly, I'd be keen on Gibcus at 7. He and Balta would have our defence looking fantastic for a decade and more. But if Ward/Hobbs are there, probably have to get one.I’m okay with taking Gibcus, however, if It is based on faith in RCD then we better pick a midfielder as RCD is bog ordinary and is not going to be a gun.

Stuff it, its just all too hard and doing my head in. Just draft 5 mids. We won a flag with only 1 key forward.
Then again we may end up with the KP player we want!Article on Fox Sports makes it sound like both GWS and GC will be holding their picks, bugger.
