Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Drafting Sinn is not really what the team needs and in no way should be reaching for him at 7.
Mansell, Short, Rioli, Stack are all fighting for the same spot. There is space on the wing potentially, but is a wingman exactly what the team needs?
At 15 is a different story, Sinn would be a good pick
A bit off topic. With Rioli’s repeat sprint ability it would be great to see him step up to play wing. Really liked his work across half back.
Sounds like a perfect replacement. I'm going to be disappointed if we don't land himHe is our long term Cotch replacement IMO

Conspicuous lack of 20m time there. He did 3.16 in March 2020, hopefully he's closer to 3.0 now.Shifters write up on hobbs -

Medium midfielder who is a hard-edged beauty who excels one-on-one and consistently extracts the ball out of congestion. Has elite game sense, reading the cues in winning the loose ball and has been ultra-consistent from the Under-16s championships in 2019 when he won All-Australian selection and Victoria Country's MVP. Has similar traits to Port Adelaide star Travis Boak with his competitive edge and ability to hit the scoreboard, averaging 25 disposals (11 contested), 5.2 clearances and five tackles in six matches for the Rebels and winning Team of the Year honours. Co-captain of Victoria Country at Under-19s level, he showed his trademark ball-winning ability and zest having 29 disposals to be among his team's best players. Showcased his athleticism with an 80cm running vertical jump and 6 minutes 32 seconds for 2km at the NAB AFL Draft Combine in Bendigo for Victoria Country.

Kevin Sheehan reveals his top NAB AFL Draft Prospects: Medium/Tall Midfielders
AFL Talent Ambassador Kevin Sheehan reveals his latest batch of prospectswww.afl.com.au
I'm all in on Hobbs first.
Callaghan. But no chance, ditto Andrew who I'd be keen on.who do you want RATD?
Any chance we can land both Hobbs and Sinn? Then target two of bazzo/jvr/alleer with our 20s picks
Howes being taken at 13 (15) helps a slider get to our pick 15 (17).
Well it is a bonus when you get #2 for nothing from the idiots at carringbush , The GWS pick factory never stops productionwhat a luxury to be able to use 1st rounders on some other blokes mate hoping the good one doesn't leave lol
Reminds me of when they gave Tom Scully's roof tiler dad a full time job as a recruiter.what a luxury to be able to use 1st rounders on some other blokes mate hoping the good one doesn't leave lol
Reminds me of that time some guy picked Relton Roberts in the first round of an all time draftReminds me of when they gave Tom Scully's roof tiler dad a full time job as a recruiter.
It's nice to support a club that players actually want to play for lol.
And what's wrong with Relton Roberts?!?...Reminds me of that time some guy picked Relton Roberts in the first round of an all time draft![]()
100% we haven’t had a good hand in the last few years so this year is going to be very entertaining. I haven’t been this invested in the draft ever as a Tiger supporterThe drafts are usually boring as batshit but this one I might actually watch given our great hand and involvement inside the top 30.

I’m a huge advocate for taking Sinn if we rate him that highly. The number of times over the years that a player touted at number 1 at the start of a year is overlooked early and turns out to be a star is a warning for me.
Pavlich a good example of a player we should have chosen, as he was talked up at the start of his U18 year, Franklin too, Darling too, there’s been plenty of them.
Yes, there’s been some great late bloomers like Bont and Dusty but if someone is rated as a possible pick 1 at the start of their last underage year, it generally means they’re a very good player.
A number of posters have said Sinn, Sonsie and another player who I can’t recall were all talked up as top 3 players. I’d take Sinn if we rated him as potentially the top pick.
The other thing being touted by many is selling the farm for pick 2. That’s madness if we give up 3 picks for one kid. We are positioned to draft potentially 5 good footballers and we have that number of spots on our list for a reason imo. Just go with what we’ve got and take the 5 choices.
Never going to get 5 guns5 guns? Have a look through the last 5 drafts and tell us the chances of picking 5 guns. If we get 3 good best 22 players we will have done very well.

Never going to get 5 guns
Happy with 1 gun and another 200 game player , If we get 2 x 200 game players and 1 Gun thats A+
I think phantom drafts go to peoples heads at this time of the year. Contrary to what Shifter Sheahan will say, the draft isn’t packed full of guns, history tells us there is likely 15 players who will have a good career and 5 of those will likely be taken in the first 7 spots.

2018 was a pretty good draft where i think you will get 15 200 gamers and possibly 4-5 gun players like the King's Walsh Smith and maybe Rozee/Luko/RankineYou get the odd good draft like 16.
Who knows how it turns out

Howes is a very good player and I’d take him with our 15(17)what a luxury to be able to use 1st rounders on some other blokes mate hoping the good one doesn't leave lol
And where did I say 5 “guns”? I said 5 good footballers, and that’s a strong possibility given the commentary around regarding this draft. To even think about giving up say 7, 15 and one of our seconds for Callaghan is absolute madness. Imo of course5 guns? Have a look through the last 5 drafts and tell us the chances of picking 5 guns. If we get 3 good best 22 players we will have done very well.

Wow. Who are you hearing it from ? Can you ask them who else we are taking ?I would take Sinn over Hobbs any day of the week…. And I’m hearing we’ll take him at our first pick if Rachelle is gone
The very reason why GWS have taken so long to get going. You cannot do it in a couple of drafts no matter how high the draft numbers. Half of Richmond's team came from rookie or unlisted players, well a good many, which sort of shows that players come good at different times and those that you take a punt on for one reason or another and take a year or two, Grimes a great example, Stack hopefully are as good as those who are do-si-doed through the private schools system.I think phantom drafts go to peoples heads at this time of the year.
