Callaghan is his mate. So is Chesser lol
I'd rather just pick Howes.Promise not to pick Howes then bid on Fahey lol
Definitely warming to him out of Hobbs & Ward. This is my hope too
Hawks may take him over Ward, but I doubt it. If Freo want another mid they could take him before we get a chance to, but they may prefer to secure Amiss as he's more of a need or go the local mid in Johnson.Hobbs might be gone ?

I hope they dontInteresting to see if Adelaide go rachele as rumored
Would be a surprise of they didn't, and would have a huge ripple effect on the rest of the top 10.Interesting to see if Adelaide go rachele as rumored
Yep.If the mid we want isn't there. We either go for Gibcus or put the for sale sign up which involves a future 1st from the best bidder at least.I think it’s moreso the obvious link between Cotch and Edward’s coming to the end and Prestia injury prone and our need to beef up our clearance ability. Hobbs is seen as the best fit and obvious choice at around our pick. If we don’t pick Hobbs or another midfielder I would then bank in us having Tom Green or something similar in the pipeline.

Im happy for Tigers to go to the draft with the picks we have. If Gold Coast want to trade for 7 & 15, I would be pushing for a future pick with 3 as well. We have more to benefit if clubs come calling to us, rather than paying overs for there better picks.I hope they dont
It will really put the cat amongst the pigeons with Hawks/Dockers scrambling their picks
Personally i think if GWS dont take Callaghan Richmond will be throwing #7 + #15 at the Suns for the pick #3 to call out Finn Callghans name out.
GWS have already knocked that offer back from what's been mentioned
If Callaghan is still available at pick #3 it wont be GC coming to us but we well be going to them with probably another 5 clubsIm happy for Tigers to go to the draft with the picks we have. Colts is a rubbish standard and there was nothing better. JVR craps himself under pressure. His got the best hands and mark by a mile in the draft and we can settle him forward or back had a great year in colts.
I completely agree with your sentiments about Gibcus and would be very happy to draft him but I don't see it with JVR. He appears to lack pace/acceleration and I think he would really struggle to get seperation in the AFL especially with AFL level zonal defending - no anti density like in the juniors (not sure if that applies in WA).
Doubt it. Clubs are professional enough to prepare for multiple scenarios. Live trading has made player ranking lists at the top of the draft order more important than ever.I hope they dont

Richmond meeting with Hobbs this weekend according to the Hun
November latest: Relentless inside midfielder Hobbs, who the Tigers are meeting with this weekend, has been reportedly linked to the Tigers and they have also shown a keen interest in Ward, but the Northern Knights product may become a Hawk with the previous pick. Key forward Amiss is also in the mix and would address another glaring need. Goater would be difficult to resist if he fell to Richmond’s second selection, or will the the Tigers pounce on another Butler? As for their trio of picks in the 30s, Richmond has shown interest in crafty forward Motlop, while Bazzo could come into the equation as a tall defender.

Jarrad Oakley-Nicholls says hi!All the speculation connecting us with Hobbs has a touch of the Tom Mitchell's about it. Notwithstanding the desperation of Hawk fans to get our pick 7, the media joined dots that simply weren't there. We had draft currency, he was a available, we are in a premiership window, so consequently they decided we were destined for each other. And we all saw ho that turned out.
Anyhow, I'm not saying we won't pick Hobbs, I just think the days of Richmond letting all the competition know in advance (which frankly I always found a bit embarrassing and annoying) are over. Personally as long it's not a ridiculous Conca reach, I'd rather not know and be pleasantly surprised on the night.
On the basis of they haven't beaten anyone of note then we better not draft a single kid from Victoria either given they haven't beaten anyone of note either, in fact you could suggest that they should be rated much lower than the WA/SA kids who at the very least got to play full seasons as well as playing games against each other.Jack could jump though.
I hope we don’t take any KPP from WA, they haven’t beaten anyone of note.
Historically WA or SA don’t have as many draftable talents as this year, which suggests they are being over rated due to over exposure.

He is a playmaker and he can also provide spectators and recruiters with some special moments.
He works extremely hard in games and is a dangerous player because he hits the scoreboard as a midfielder.
I see him developing into a rebounding defender because he has flair and is willing to take on opponents and use his kicking skills to set up teammates
Connor MacDonald sounds like a steal with one of our second round picksView attachment 1284397
