Hopefully can become a long term Riewoldt replacement. Mids are dime a dozen and can steal one or 2 of them off gold coast and GWS when Riewoldt and Cotchin's money is freed up when they retire end of 2022. Surely one or 2 of our other picks end up decent mids with a future.

I think it's more likely we're interested in Johnson than Amiss. I think Clarke's been pretty open in saying Amiss is in consideration for our pick which seems to me like a tactic to pressure Freo into taking him first, while we've stayed quiet on Johnson who's the one we really want to slip.

I think this may happen. we have enough Hobbs types in our midfield. thinking it will be gibcus or johnson at this point. leaning toward gibcus tbh
