I've just starting thinking about this draft. KPPs first priority. Hopefully the King boys 2021 versionOnly concern with green is his ability to play out the season
Seems to always be carrying an injury
Those PA players have been very good. If we don't win it this year, I could see more list changes & 3 draftees step up and play Rd 1. If we win it I'd rather swap picks for the 2022 draft. That would be exactly the plan we should be looking at.
3 picks inside 2 or 4 inside 30 and then select the right players to emulate the impact Rozee . Butters , Duursman had for Port Adelaide
Drafting talls is a long process. King brothers went to lowly teams where they were guaranteed game time. I'd rather trade in replacement for Jack or see how CJ goes and if spuds it up then plan B. Dave isn't as big an issue. We played 2020 with Balta & Broad & Grimes as tallsReally hoping some KPP get to our 2 picks in 2021 to replace jack & Dave

Thats an easy fix in theory but rarely happens without implications , Just ask geelongDrafting talls is a long process. King brothers went to lowly teams where they were guaranteed game time. Geelong and Cameron? Well its like they're having a last tilt at a flag, trading in Cameron, Higgins & Smith. If they don't win a flag maybe Hawkins retires leaves their KPFs as Cameron & Ratugolea. I will also keep an eye on Daniher & Peter Wright at their new clubs too as I prefer that strategy~ good players but not costing more than one first round draft pick. To replace Riewoldt and keep challenging for flags for as long as possible drafting young KPFs like Van Rooyen Bazzo Lukic may not be the best strategy until we are rebuilding.Thats an easy fix in theory but rarely happens without implications , Just ask geelong
When you try and bring in a player like Ben King you need to pay him $1 million a year x 5/7 years and then you have issue's in cap space
then you will also have Gold Coast not wanting to let him go and could do a GWS and match and demand 2 1st rounders and if they are late picks quality kid along with that.
Unrestricted from a struggling team like Carlton or GC are great but need cap space which i cant see us having for 4-5 years
Just in time for the Kings to be RFA's?Thats an easy fix in theory but rarely happens without implications , Just ask geelong

Cats need pace,We need a JR replacement not of same ability but as close as possible.Geelong and Cameron? Well its like they're having a last tilt at a flag, trading in Cameron, Higgins & Smith. I reckon Giants recruit well and always seem to have very good players trading out .

This year will be telling for CCJ.If he makes a good fist of it.Issue solved.
If not i'd look at a straight swap.George for Ratugolea.
Or if CCJ is struggling but GWS are still keen i'd push for CCJ for Hindemburg.
Trade/FA for a KP for now.With Rance.
Grimes. Astbury. Jack. Getting on.
I would be hoping the club are targeting at least one elite potential young tall.
It's tough for them early on but Georgiades. balta. Lukosius etc. Show it's possible to make a positive impact.
Richmond has some good young and mid aged bracket players - if Lukic is available looks a nice fit.
I know shes had a bad year but i can't see Brooke Cotchin straying.Van Rooyen is apparently drawing wayne Carey comparisons..

Draft & develop a Lukic ala Balta for the future.

Who in their right mind would wanna see BrookeWhat about if someone offers to pay her to post it on Instagram?
I just don’t see CJ as JRs replacement.Cats need pace,We need a JR replacement not of same ability but as close as possible.

As long as he can create a contest at the very least and look threatening at times.I just don’t see CJ as JRs replacement.
I think more likely he makes it as a ruckman who pinch hits up forward.
Imo we need a more mobile tall to play alongside Lynch. Himmelberg would be a great get
The club does. Has been very highly rated primarily as a future key fwd for a number of years.I just don’t see CJ as JRs replacement.

I think you’ll see him play primarily as a ruckman this year. Of course he can push forward but will be developed as a follower. Our stocks are relatively thin when you consider Soldo won’t play this year and Ryan is a kid.The club does. Has been very highly rated primarily as a future key fwd for a number of years.

true, but i think Lynch couldnt of had a rougher time of it as he has since stepping into RichmondKey forward stocks don't look too good if Jack or Lynch go down
Maria Rioli in 2023, meant to be a gun.We need another Rioli in the 2021 draft. Hope Brayden has a good year and we look at him

Do any clubs forward stocks look too good if both their best key forwards go down?Key forward stocks don't look too good if Jack or Lynch go down
When they were flush with cash they spent it all on shit like aflx, making the woman’s game grow on warp speed before it could sustain itself by putting to many teams into the comp to fast and a theme for every roundOne thing that really irks me about the current afl admin. They seem hell bent on changing things for the sake of it.
I'd luv to know what their thinking is right now in regards too their 2 plastic clubs. One which has never even got close to Sept while the other has reached its peak IMO.Witht he rumblings down in Tassie you'd wanna make sure you get things right otherwise that Golden goose may have layed its last egg.(Not confident they'll get it right)When they were flush with cash they spent it all on sh*t like aflx, making the woman’s game grow on warp speed before it could sustain itself by putting to many teams into the comp to fast and a theme for every round
Now that the well has dried up because of covid it’s the things that matter most for the growth of the game are paying the cost
