When they were flush with cash they spent it all on sh*t like aflx, making the woman’s game grow on warp speed before it could sustain itself by putting to many teams into the comp to fast and a theme for every round
Now that the well has dried up because of covid it’s the things that matter most for the growth of the game are paying the cost
Do any clubs forward stocks look too good if both their best key forwards go down?
Not like clubs can afford a quality key forward playing at VFL level

should we care? who is he?Apparently josh Fahey has been confirmed a gws academy player
should we care? who is he?
Will be a spud for sure. Will rot in their reserves and then go to Carlton for a 2nd rounder and then be delisted.Fairy highly rated prospect.
Gold Coast Academy/NSW/ACT)

Half-Back/Outside Midfielder
While formerly tied to the GWS Academy, Fahey represented that of the Gold Coast Suns this year and showed fine form. He is a damaging rebound defender who gains plenty of meterage with his daring dash and raking left boot
Might have been around the tigers draft pick(?) if it's not traded.
That's ok it's more fun winning flags with the afl propping up other clubs

As if we’d trade George like a piece of meat , don’t mind rata at all and if CCJ didnt fire he’d be worth a look . I don’t however expect that will be the caseCats need pace,We need a JR replacement not of same ability but as close as possible.
This year will be telling for CCJ.If he makes a good fist of it.Issue solved.
If not i'd look at a straight swap.George for Ratugolea.
Or if CCJ is struggling but GWS are still keen i'd push for CCJ for Hindemburg.
Get up with the times mate. All players are potentially treated like meat.Thats the system. We have to delist a min of 3 players a year.Using George as an example. He may think hell i've been part of 3 flags at the club and now i should cash in on it.Buddy did it.George would appeal to most clubs so unlike the Butler situation both he and the club could win out of it.As if we’d trade George like a piece of meat , don’t mind rata at all and if CCJ didnt fire he’d be worth a look . Was overlooked last season. No big wraps on him previouslyapparently Harrison Free is available to us as a father-son this year. Does anyone know much about him?
My point was you were underplaying his importance to the side , I think we d let him go if he attracted Brando like offer , I’d doubt that he would though in which case his value is higher in keeping himGet up with the times mate. All players are potentially treated like meat.Thats the system. We have to delist a min of 3 players a year.Using George as an example. He may think hell i've been part of 3 flags at the club and now i should cash in on it.Buddy did it.George would appeal to most clubs so unlike the Butler situation both he and the club could win out of it.
No doubt we'd let him go if he chooses too set himself up for the rest of his life.Same applys too all the 3 flaggers who took a cut too keep Dusty & Lynch. My point was you were underplaying his importance to the side , I think we d let him go if he attracted Brando like offer , I’d doubt that he would though in which case his value is higher in keeping him

Mackenzie Cowley is the one I'm really keen on. Nyawi Moore is the son of Nathan Lovett-Murray from Essendon, who also have dibs on him through father son.
For those interested here is Cowleys stats from his junior career up on the Murray. Kid knows how to kick a goal

Pretty sure he was eligible in 2020 but thought he had given the game awayThanks for posting RT. Interesting to see Ethan Baxter is still going? Is he draft eligible this year?

I’ve never seen him play but I wonder whether there was any way we could try and poach Nyawi Moore, Nathan Lovett-Murray was caught out in the entire drug saga so you never know if there’s some leftover bad blood. Our NGA players for this year

I think there would be a chance with the indigenous boys we have at the club he might be keen to comeI’ve never seen him play but I wonder whether there was any way we could try and poach Nyawi Moore, Nathan Lovett-Murray was caught out in the entire drug saga so you never know if there’s some leftover bad blood.
I doubt we’d have much of a chance in doing so especially with him already spending time training with the bombers but I’d love to see the club make a play nice and early to try and get him to nominate the club if they rate him.
