I agree here, it's a major need for us, you can see what happens to our midfield when Prestia is injured. IMO that's the type we'll be looking for at pick 7Dimma’s and I’d imagine our recruiters main want is for “transition mids”, like Dion. They’ve said it a number of times and hard to argue against. A mid that runs both ways all day is invaluable. It’s why our wings are Macca and Marlion, who both aren’t the best kicks in the side but run all day and are tough as.

Julia.What about “ Neville”

Callaghan feels like a pipe dream but damn he is impressive. Has a frame that you can tell with a few pre-seasons gym work he will turn into a beast.Need to find a way to get access to Finn Callaghan.. most likely the 4th name called out on draft night behind Daicos, Horne-Francis and Darcy.
Currently GWS have that pick, but they are pretty keen on Gibcus.
If they were to take Gibcus, it would mean Callaghan is still available at the next pick, currently held by Gold Coast.
Listening to Matt Clarke last week, it sounds like trading up to pinch Callaghan is a legitimate option if available.
Callaghan would be very nice at 7 but can’t see that happening
Had to google him, but good call. Like Matty Roberts was a South AustralianWhat about “ Neville”

Only 2 ways we can get hold of pick 3 from the Suns
Trade involving CJ
Or
An Experienced player.(With a premiership or 3 on his CV)
If only SoS was in charge.Done
Caddy for pick 3 it is then
Josh Cripps coming off an ACL that ruined his chances of being drafted last year. Has been tearing it up since coming back from injury.Info here on some likely types:
Jordan Lukac (ruck/forward rookie)
Jason Horne-Francis (gone)
Matt Roberts (2g in the seniors again 1st round)
Sam Skinner (KPD 3/4 round)
Brady Hough (small fwd 2nd/3rd round)
Josh Browne (ball magnet 2nd/3rd round)
Corey Warner (y/brother of Chad 2nd/3rd round)
Arlo Draper (livewire some say top 10)
Joshua Cripps (y/brother of Paddy rookie)
Mani Liddy (inside mid 2nd/3rd round)
Zac Becker (l/down defender 3rd tall 3rd/4th round )
Jack Avery (l/down defender 3rd tall 2nd/3rd round)
Jesse Motlop (son of Daniel 3rd/4th round)
Jack Williams (KPF late 1st/2nd round)
Taj Woewodin (son of Shane 3rd/4th round)
Some playing against men, some playing in the reserves or thirds so it's all relative.

What Matt Clarke says publicly is very tactical. Could be another player that he rates as elite on top of that.Need to find a way to get access to Finn Callaghan.. most likely the 4th name called out on draft night behind Daicos, Horne-Francis and Darcy.

Where did you see any footage of him?F*** that Callaghan kid looks like the real deal. If the standout top four is Daicos, Darcy, Horne and Callaghan and then the next dozen roughly the same then we’re in a bit of an awkward spot with pick 7. Would be happy to trade up or down.
Might as well grab the better Green then (2nd time around) lolJosh Cripps coming off an ACL that ruined his chances of being drafted last year. Has been tearing it up since coming back from injury.
Is a 199cm ruck forward and is worth a shot with a late pick. Especially if we lose CJ.
We have better Dow, why not get the better Cripps also.
Not sure if he is the player we should be looking at - Van Rooyen is the player i want at that pickI'm warming to Mac Andrew if he's still available @16.
