I like 190 types. Watched Sean Grigg in some games recently. RCD is developing slowly but if Callaghan can break into the 22 next year, its a type we haven't had many of.Maybe we are super keen on Finn Callaghan assuming Gibcus goes to GWS pick 2.
Maybe but I feel the bont was the same. Big body so no real excuse he can’tIs Callaghan too outside? Some of his write ups say he needs to work on his contested game and his highlights are mostly outside play

Something like DM#4 said might work better for the Suns based on list spots and players contract statuses. Or even 7 & 15 for 3 & 22. They certainly wouldn't be looking to take on multiple picks (I.e. one of our mid/late 1st's plus 2nd round pick(s)) for the single pick 3.Gold Coast have no list spots and they hold picks #3 , #19 , #22 why would they want more picks
doesn't make sense.
I wouldnt mind asking about their pick #19 if for any reason they wanted later picks but i doubt it
Gibcus is the player both GWS & GC need the most imoMost draft boards have Callaghan going after Horne, so to Giants. Likely not even available at Suns pick. Unless we 100% know the Giants are into someone else.

Lever / Grimes type defender
I agree, I'd want to make sure the player we are after is there at that pick before we make the tradeIf we are seriously interested in pick 3, I'm guessing it will be a live trade.
Norf - Horne-Francis
GWS - Gibcus ?
then we trade to get Callahan. Maybe Gold Coast are after Mac Andrew?
Or is it not Callahan, but Ward or Erasmus that we don't think will last to pick 7 ?
I would think that 3 of the below players would be available at our 1st pick.I agree, I'd want to make sure the player we are after is there at that pick before we make the trade
Unless of course there are two of them we don't mind getting
Well considering there are 7 players on your list, add on the Top 3 we know won't slip to us, then that's 10 playersI would think that 3 of the below players would be available at our 1st pick.
Ward
Gibcus
Hobbs
Amiss
Goater
Sinn
Erasmus
Especially with the top 4... Most have those 4 at another level.Very few in the know think Gibcus goes that high
I was adding a top 4 including Callaghan.Well considering there are 7 players on your list, add on the Top 3 we know won't slip to us, then that's 10 players
I'd say it's a certainty that at least two will be there at our pick 9, so having 3 there isn't a massive stretch![]()
Yep.Thats how i reckon it'll playout,if its Callahan we're after. If we are seriously interested in pick 3, I'm guessing it will be a live trade.

Would jump at pick 7 & 28 for pick 3
RACE FOR NO.3 PICK HEATS UP
Richmond and Adelaide are “among the clubs interested” in trading for Gold Coast’s pick 3 in the upcoming draft, reports AFL Media.
As first reported by Foxfooty.com.au’s Tom Morris back in June, the Suns will offer up their first-round selection this trade period, keen to entice an experienced player to the club.
The Suns are keen on finding a key forward to partner Ben King and will sign unrestricted free agent Mabior Chol on a four-year deal from the Tigers. It’s unclear whether they feel Chol is enough of a solution.
AFL Media reports the Suns would also consider splitting their pick for two later selections.

Richmond has the strongest draft hand in the league, owning picks 7, 15, 26 and 28. Using the AFL Draft Value Index, swapping pick 7 and pick 26 or 28 in exchange for pick 3 would be a fair deal.
Adelaide owns picks 4 and 23, but the latter will almost certainly be needed to deal for Sydney’s Jordan Dawson.
Matty Clarke was cagey on the Road to the Draft podcast. Spinning the evenness of the draft after the top 4. Seems they rate someone else in that bracket. We must really rate someone, or 'know' that one of the top 4 will slide. Interesting
I really dont think so as he has only been playing colts and there is a lot of hype that probably wont translate to the draftHas Amiss really rocketed into a top 6 pick? A month ago he was an option at 15 for us.
It seems we are after a mid & he did mention Wards name unprompted, also mentioned JVR so he could be a later option we look at.Matty Clarke was cagey on the Road to the Draft podcast. Spinning the evenness of the draft after the top 4. Seems they rate someone else in that bracket.
I don't think any of Erasmus/Ward/Hobbs will be available at 7 and would suspect it is one of those 3.
If GC are not sure "Chol is enough of a solution" then why are they getting him? Could we convince CJ to go there?Would jump at pick 7 & 28 for pick 3

Very interesting, and a big risk. Unless we are certain that the guy we want will be gone.Would jump at pick 7 & 28 for pick 3

If we were to upgrade to pick 2 or 3 we could agree not to not pick Darcy reducing the need for 1700 pointsDogs need a lot more points than that to match the bid on Darcy and not go into arrears for next year as they need around 1700 points to match a bid at Pick 3. I'd be looking to package up 1700 points for their pick and they throw in a future pick for next year to balance it out.
