3 R1 picks would be nice. I just hope the U19 Carnival doesn’t suffer any further delays. If we are going to have all these early picks we want Clarke and co seeing these kids perform at the highest level

Sounds like a decent draft pool this, especially for good sized mids. Not amazing, but good given the picks we have.

Just 2 players that were talked up during their draft years as being big body inside mids that could also play time foward

Both players at the Brisbane Lions and possible to be moved as unlikely to get much midfield or game time

I wanted us to get Smith , came across as a cocky campaigner on draft night, maybe thought everything would just happen for him.

Still hear they are our 2 primary targets. But things may change as they did last year as we were keen on Dev Robertson for much of the year until Soldo went down and realised we needed to draft a ruckman.
