These games used to be on Fox Footy in years gone by, are they still?
What role do you see JVR playing at top level? Have heard he could be an excellent Jack replacement. Would be happy with him and Bazzo within our first 4 picks tbh if thats the case.Bazzo had a great game Sat WA v SA U19 Champs and his stocks will have risen.
for us i think bazzo would suit our backline better if we assume that balta&miller will be our 2 kpds going forward, more of a rangy tall interceptor who uses his reach very well, so i think he could compliment those 2 very well as the 3rd tall who can also probably take the skinny stick kpfsWhat role do you see JVR playing at top level? If JVR is a defender do you go him or Bazzo if both on board in the 20's?

whereas van rooyen would probably develop best for us up forward as we definitely lack an actual tall fwd that's not a ruck/fwd, so if we have lynch+ruck/fwd+jvr we'll be good. for other teams could definitely be a kpd as he looks to be decent there.
personally i want both of them, i'd we go a mid with our first pick and get those 2 with our next couple picks. would also love amiss personally but just see him going somewhere else. amiss is so good on the lead
any 3 of top10 mid + amiss + jvr + bazzo (preferably 4) and i would be over the moon

Bazzo played a terrific game, probably WA's best player at full back but the opposition was hard to judge. He basically marked everything and is very tidy by foot. Van Rooyen had a good game also and he does remind me of Jack and perhaps a little bit of Oscar Allen. He's courageous in the air but can be a little untidy by foot. He's been playing back mainly because of the form of Jye Amiss and to some extent Jack Williams. They are the four good KPPs for WA. The ruckman South is a good player too .What role do you see JVR playing at top level? Have heard he could be an excellent Jack replacement. I definitely feel like we need 2 of them with our 4 picks.Bazzo played a terrific game, probably WA's best player at full back but the opposition was hard to judge. Amiss really has a lot of XFactor, flying for marks and hitting the ball at speed and he's the best natural forward of the lot imo. Late developer, he's charged onto the scene this year. He has lots of upside. Any one or two of these kids look pretty good but Bazzo is the best pure defender and for mine Amiss the best key forward.
Van Rooyen getting a lot of Balta comparisons with his athleticism. Imagine having two Baltas ...we are on the same page![]()
According to the article it could be the only game of the championship played due to Covid.
There's a lot of discussion at the moment about how many list spots we will have actually available. We might be maxing out at three picks in the end.If Ward, Amiss and Hobbs are gone, I'd be happy to see if we could turn pick 7 into another two picks around 20 mark. Two of possibly Wilmott, Butler or Johnson might be a better way to go then drafting an Erasmus or Draper etc. 5 picks in the top 30 would be amazing

Pretty unlikely, Fremantle and the Bombers would be all over Amiss before our second pick.Any chance we could nab Ward and Amiss with our first 2 picks?
Based on profile they seem to be exactly what we need.

If we drafted Amiss at 7 then would need a lot of luck for Ward to last until Geelong's first pick.

Amiss sounds good for our first pick. Takes marks, competitive, smart and a dead eye dick in front of goal. Sounds like JR8. Whats not to like?
Goater sounds good for around our 2nd pick too.
We would need our current pick 40 to advance into the 30's to allow us to get Motlop, which could be likely after Colonwood use their 33 + 39 matching a Daicos bid“Motlop is tied to Fremantle's Next Generation Academy but the Dockers can only match a bid for him after pick 40 given he is a metropolitan Indigenous prospect. “
Very interesting to note that Jesse Motlop, so of Ex-Roo Daniel, is available to be picked up before pick 40 without having Freo matching their bid. He looked a very handy small forward with some serious goal sense from what I watched and with one of the third round picks would be a very handy addition to replace aarts or Castagna.
Twoomey also has two WA key position players Van Rooyen and Jack Williams falling to around picks 26-28. Either of those two at one of our second round picks would be a solid prospect.
Hobbs would be the likely target for Richmond at 7.
That's not Twomey's Phantom draft, it's his power ratings.“Motlop is tied to Fremantle's Next Generation Academy but the Dockers can only match a bid for him after pick 40 given he is a metropolitan Indigenous prospect. “
