Did you catch the recent Matty Clarke interview?I'm warming to Mac Andrew if he's still available @16.
Couldn’t think of a better Club to trade with for CJ and CHOL to go to in FA
GCS IN CJ, CHOL and future 3rd swap?
OUT pick 3
RIC IN pick 3 and Chol compo pick
OUT CJ and CHOL
then Package up 28,40,44 to the Dogs for pick 15
Trade Chol compo pick to Cats for Narkle.
FA grab Talia
Rich Go to Draft with 3,7,15,16,26 could even trade out our second round for a future second if we don’t have list spots

Does a second round sweetener 28 get it done? I really think CJ and Chol as a package could unlock 3Massive overrating of CJ here.

chol & cj are worth way more than pick 3, they just need more game time.Does a second round sweetener 28 get it done? I really think CJ and Chol as a package could unlock 3
I tend to agree. They’re experienced talls with 4 plus years of development. With some pick swaps I reckon pick 3 is viable from the Suns and what we should be asking forchol & cj are worth way more than pick 3, they just need more game time.
they are worth 2 seconds and 1st and 3rd pic at least

price tag just happens to be a Norm Smith Medallist plus three first-round picks. Never said those price tags had to be market value or achievableFor mine Dusty is untouchable.
No chance.Does a second round sweetener 28 get it done? I really think CJ and Chol as a package could unlock 3
Pick #3 for Cj is delusional
If Cj requests a trade to GC i would be wanting #19 + #24 for Cj + #44
12 months ago 17 other teams would have been saying the same about Richmond. Not sure they'd bite mate, but I like your thinking. If we're really going to trade him I'd rather we package CCJ and a pick for a future 1st rounder. Watching Melbourne tonight, I reckon it's going to take more than one draft to replenish our list to compete with that mob. I hope we try to find a way to take a good hand of picks not only into this years draft but next year's as well.
No, it's dependent on ladder position after the home and away season.Does the Cats losing by so much help us in regards to whether we get pick 15 or 16? Can’t remember if it’s margin or ladder position.
Hopefully we get both #15 & #16 after trade weekNo, it's dependent on ladder position after the home and away season.
Geelong finished 3rd
Dogs finished 5th
So if the Dogs lose, they get pick #15
Cats loss gives them / us pick #16

I think we will be taking our picks and reloading and if we have some luck with the kids we select and have a haul like Port with Rozee/Duursma/Butters then we are set for the next 10-12 years. There is no reason why we cant
Very good chance we will take 4 or maybe 5 kids inside 30 and combined with the kids already at the club we could see 12-15 new players in our side for 2023
2004 was a very very long time ago, specially at the RFC and our recruiting department which consisted of FJ and the newspaper boyFair enough mate - if our recruiters are confident that we can nab players of that calibre from the picks we have this year then I'm all for it.
The thing is, just because you have a 4 picks in the top 30, there's no guarantee that you're going to end up with a Rozee/Duursma/Butters haul. Plenty of clubs have taken a bunch of early picks into a draft and come out with duds. Remember the 2004 draft? Richmond had five picks in the top 20 and look what we ended up with.
If I was in Blair Hartley's shoes, I would trust our recruiters' judgement here. If they think that the kid we might get with a potential pick in the 8-16 range of next year's draft is going to be substantially better than the kid we might get with pick 30 (or whichever one we trade) from this year's draft, then I hope we pull the trigger. We'll still have a decent hand in this year's draft, but we'll also get an injection of real quality.
Both eliminated teams are placed in ladder position so if Dogs win we get 15 if Port win we get 16Does the Cats losing by so much help us in regards to whether we get pick 15 or 16? Can’t remember if it’s margin or ladder position.
