Think people are overrating CJ's trade value, not to mention the fact Chol as a Free Agent so will walk for nothing, best case the contract is big enough to get us a 3rd as compo in all likelihood.

Any trade for pick 3 is realistically going to involve pick 7, maybe CJ + 7 for 3 + later pick. Only problem I see with it is Callaghan is probably gone at that pick. Pick 3 will end up being pick 5 and Daicos/Horne/Darcy/Callaghan seem to be the pretty clear top 4. Probably would need to get pick 2 to get him.

Reckon GWS will pick Gibcus.

GC & GWS are jam packed with mids and Gibcus is a Ridley / Lever type backman that reads the play beautifully and has amazing leap and agility
they would be mad to pass on him

Bailey Dale has absolute elite foot skills watching that game last night his low flat kicking over 50m was so damaging.
A distributor like that would be very handy on the wing or hb.
that’s the beauty of havingsuch a good hand in this draft we can tick so many boxes when it comes to needs

You are correct but GC & GWS having early picks and having a distinct need for KPD and not a need for mids you would think his value would be there
I would love him with our pick.

But my wish for XMAS is Jacob Van Rooyen with pick #15

It's been mentioned that Rachele is the best kick, particularly i50 with Fahey the next best.

*Edit...........Dale has been doing it all year, really needs a hard forward tag to limit his opportunities, same as Caleb Daniel. Stop those 2 and you're well on the way to nullifying the Dogs transitional ball movement and control

Fisher McAsey - top 5 or 6 pick as a key defender and hasn't played. Grainger-Barass from last year also not looking as likely as some taken after him. Recruiters have long memories. I expect Gibcus to drop also. The top 10 will all be mids apart from Darcy.
