I think both of our 2nd rnd picks are going to be quite valuable so 38-40-44 still gives the Dogs 300pts which is pick 50 in their favour.
Just have to work out what to give the Pies or we work a deal with North to get their F2 through the CCJ & Tarrant deal
7-15-18-26-28 this year
2 x F2 whether that's Pies or North
Hey Banger, whattya reckon about this talk pick 2 is up for grabs cos Mac Andrew? You'd have to be 100 he'll be there to trade down, but I reckon it's at least 95 he'll be there at 7(9). So what does it take to get 2? 7 and 17? 7, 15, 26 for 2, 13, 52?Hey Tigers fans,
I don't reckon he'll be there at 7, but I think historically trading into the top 2 picks, or even the top 5, has cost a lot more than what people are putting up as hypotheticals for Pick 2, it's just not overly worth it for most clubs to trade up imoHey Banger, whattya reckon about this talk pick 2 is up for grabs cos Mac Andrew? Reckon we can bank on 39 for CCJ but we might be able to move 38 or 39 for Norths future 2ndHopefully, we can get pick 20 for CJ, what a draft hand the club has to reshape its future. Enough picks to wheel and deal with other clubs. No doubt we will improve our draft hand even more.

Considering the 39 would be coming from North, it's really just CJ + 38 for North's 2022 2nd (and Tarrant).Reckon we can bank on 39 for CCJ but we might be able to move 38 or 39 for Norths future 2nd
Yeah, sorry, it's what I meant and posted the details in another thread.Considering the 39 would be coming from North, it's really just CJ + 38 for North's 2022 2nd (and Tarrant).

Not really worth it as they will be pivotal to getting Doggies pickReckon we can bank on 39 for CCJ but we might be able to move 38 or 39 for Norths future 2nd
Suns, Hawks and as much as you all tell me otherwise Richmond would at least have him in the frame. And no, I don't, moving 6 to 4 cost GWS a first rounder with nothing in return, I can't see GWS doing it for a upgrade from the 3rd to first roundWho do you reckon is taking him before 7? You don't like my deals? 7, 15, 17 for 2, 13, 52?
I think some posters are getting obsessed by the early picks, yes the top 4 in this draft are enticing but it's not a huge drop to the next tier of players or the tier after so if we could wrangle the Dogs 1st whilst keeping our other top picks then I think it's a once in a generation opportunity to refresh/rebuild. For me the ideal outcome is:Suns, Hawks and as much as you all tell me otherwise Richmond would at least have him in the frame. And no, I don't, moving 6 to 4 cost GWS a first rounder with nothing in return, I can't see GWS doing it for a upgrade from the 3rd to first round
Whose butthole do we extract 29 from?Reading Fox Sports article from today, guess they have been on BF
RICHMOND
Ideal trade scenario: A bit to do here. Mabior Chol gets to Gold Coast via free agency and the Tigers are pleasantly surprised to earn a second-round pick in compensation; they gladly trade a super-late pick to North Melbourne for Robbie Tarrant to make sure the compo isn’t watered down. Meanwhile the Kangaroos give up pick 38 for Callum Coleman-Jones - even in an ideal scenario, pick 20 is a bit much - boosting their draft hand even more. Then it’s time to work some deals, with as many as eight picks in the top 44 to use. They work a very tasty deal with the point-hungry Western Bulldogs, getting their first-round pick (17) and a future second for multiple second and third-round picks (28, 38, 40 and 44, perhaps?). Then they couple 17 and 7 to nab Gold Coast’s pick 3. In the end, they’d have picks 3, 15, 26 and 29, plus a first and two seconds in 2022. What a haul!
Whose butthole do we extract 29 from?
I mean if they want to hand it over who am I to say noGood pick up Tigs, pick 29 belongs to west coast

THIS...❤That would be the 2 picks i would go after
2021 Doggies 1st round pick #18 after the daicos bid (28 , 42 , 46 = 1403 points)
2022 Pies 2nd Rounder (due to them requiring points) 38 + 39 = 911 points
2021 picks
7 , 15 , 18 , 26
2022
1 x 1st round - Richmond
2 x 2nd round - Richmond & Collingwood
Yeah but you thought Country would beat Metro.Suns, Hawks and as much as you all tell me otherwise Richmond would at least have him in the frame. And no, I don't, moving 6 to 4 cost GWS a first rounder with nothing in return, I can't see GWS doing it for a upgrade from the 3rd to first round
I don't mind that, Pies 2nd would be a great pick to getThat would be the 2 picks i would go after

Just teasin'.Not overly relevant but true, I guess?
the trouble with that is that the dogs can only use as many picks as list spots they have. ie, if they only have 3 spots they can only use 3 picks. so we can't simply throw a shit ton of low picks at them. a second rounder might be needed to ensure it has value for them, because if it doesnt they'll go elsewhere. so we might have to lose one in the 20s instead and use one in the 30s/40s ourselves. even with ccj going we only have 3 spots to use anyway.I think both of our 2nd rnd picks are going to be quite valuable so 38-40-44 still gives the Dogs 300pts which is pick 50 in their favour.
