Dogs should be fine points wise. They get something for Lipinski and the picks they have will move forward (be worth more points) after Pies match the Daicos bid (unless the very unlikely happens and Darcy is bid on before Daicos). Dogs more likely to trade a future pick to get back in the draft after they match Darcy imo.

Points value does not change. The points value of a pick is not altered because a team has used multiple picks to match prior to your pick.it’s value is unchanged. Later picks move in but their value is still the same. A teams pick can be bought forward but only by left over points from a prior pick matched for a father son or NGA player.

God we keep overrating dead ordinary players. RCD just does not get enough possession. His lack of tank is an excuse. If he wasn’t an early pick, he’d be off the list.

This is inaccurate. The club has been at the very bottom of the League in terms of possessions per game as a team every year for the last five years.

The club has said to death it could play in a manner than would see Cotch get 30 possessions a game instead of the 20ish possessions he averages over the same timeframe.

In fact, the two players who have had the most amount of possessions at VFL level have both been delisted over the last two years (Fraser Turner and Patty Naish).

Put simply, the club puts very little emphasis at all into possession tally’s, and more into structures and impacts. The latter is where RCD can really excel.

I think we need to think about taking Van Rooyen with 15
..won't be there in the twenties..
Ward/Rachelle/Erasmus with pick 7 ..I think one of them will be available ..
If we can get 27 off the pies for 38/40 for them to use for the Lipinski trade that would be excellent ..
Then at 26 /27/28
Either Bazzo or Aleer with one of the picks
And with the other two picks
Two of either Knevitt.motlop.Roberts Goater ,or any internally rated mid field slider ...and there will be a few this draft

Haven’t seen any juniors this year for obvious reason, but from what ive read it was only when he moved inside that the hype as a top 4 pick began.

He was basically averaging 30 touches and over 10 contested a game as an inside mid.

The thing I don't get is he was listed at the pick 10 mark by all the experts prior to lockdown. Fast forward a couple of months of being unable to ply his trade he's now in everyones certain top 4. Can only mean the WA and SA boys who could still play all went putrid. Or the experts all play follow the leader cos how could he possibly leapfrog blokes who were playing still while he's at home doing sweet fa????

The Bulldogs may end up with 27 if there is a pick swap for Lipinski. The Dogs then may have enough list spots to trade 27 for 38/40 before the draft.

Likely though that we will end up with 6 live picks on draft night and can do the trade on draft night. Would mean having to delist re-rooky another player

You know who I see watching that video for the first time? He plays like a cross between Prestia and Baker. Low centre of gravity, strong through hips and thighs, great evasiveness ect. Interesting prospect.

The more Im watching Roberts the less Im liking him, actually starting to really dislike him. Almost has to be carrying something or deliberately tanking his value.

If not shaping as a massive slider come draft day.

glad to hear we're having a crack, seems a fair way off the mark though and significantly worse than the crows offer

With the recent offers from us and Adelaide, I imagine that the potential #1 draft pick must be better than Dusty, Judd and GAJ combined.

I'd be very surprised if Sier doesn't find a new home but stranger things have happened. Yes, I heard that too, that Lynch is likely to be traded to the hawks.
I always think of us first what will benefit the mighty tiges!
