Points value does not change. The points value of a pick is not altered because a team has used multiple picks to match prior to your pick.it’s value is unchanged. Later picks move in but their value is still the same. A teams pick can be bought forward but only by left over points from a prior pick matched for a father son or NGA player.Dogs should be fine points wise. They get something for Lipinski and the picks they have will move forward (be worth more points) after Pies match the Daicos bid (unless the very unlikely happens and Darcy is bid on before Daicos). Dogs more likely to trade a future pick to get back in the draft after they match Darcy imo.
God we keep overrating dead ordinary players. RCD just does not get enough possession. His lack of tank is an excuse. If he wasn’t an early pick, he’d be off the list.

Can someone clue me in on why Callaghan is at the top of a lot of people's wishlist?
He is essentially a wingman at this stage, doesn't tackle and isn't aggressive. All things we generally don't draft in a player...
Why would Collingwood need 38/40 when they have 36 , 43 , 46 , 48 already? If we can get 27 off the pies for 38/40 for them to use for the Lipinski trade that would be excellent ..
The thing I don't get is he was listed at the pick 10 mark by all the experts prior to lockdown. Fast forward a couple of months of being unable to ply his trade he's now in everyones certain top 4. Can only mean the WA and SA boys who could still play all went putrid. Or the experts all play follow the leader cos how could he possibly leapfrog blokes who were playing still while he's at home doing sweet fa????Can someone clue me in on why Callaghan is at the top of a lot of people's wishlist?

Time will tell I guessWhy would Collingwood need 38/40 when they have 36 , 43 , 46 , 48 already?
As I mentioned in another post, can't see the Pie's trading pick 27 until the draft night as it would mean they would have to delist an additional player to keep the extra live pick.
For those questioning Ben Hobbs pace, here’s another vid of him, 2021 highlights, super impressive.
His acceleration out of congestion looks fine as does his overall pace.
He is ready-made, strong as and if he gets to our pick 7 no doubt, we grab him.
The Bulldogs may end up with 27 if there is a pick swap for Lipinski. The Dogs then may have enough list spots to trade 27 for 38/40 before the draft.Time will tell I guess

Clubs can only bring in picks to the draft for list spots. The Pies are not going to split 27 into 38/40 if it means delisting another playerHow do you expect them to bid on daicos? most of those picks will be swallowed up on daicos, they might be left with 27 plus 78 & 79
If they trade 27 for our 38 and 40 it will give them 2 pics on top of picking Daicos, think they'll pass on 78 and 79
I can't see them picking more than 3 players, as last year they went 6 kids in the ND + 2 rookies = 8 kids

They only have 1 list spot open.
Will have to de-list up to 5 players to cover the list spots required for their picks to match the bid.
Reckon he will be there at our 4th pickThe more Im watching Roberts the less Im liking him, actually starting to really dislike him. Almost has to be carrying something or deliberately tanking his value.
If not shaping as a massive slider come draft day.

Can live trade 27 before they match the bid on Daicos.
glad to hear we're having a crack, seems a fair way off the mark though and significantly worse than the crows offerRICHMOND has made a massive play for the No.1 pick in an attempt to supercharge its rebound up the ladder next year.
However North Melbourne, like it did to Adelaide's offer for the top pick, denied the Tigers' pitch for the No.1 selection with its eyes set on young gun Jason Horne-Francis.

REVEALED: Another club makes monster offer for North's No.1 pick
The Kangaroos' No.1 draft pick is highly coveted, with a second club having a crack at securing the first selectionwww.afl.com.au
Reckon he will be there at our 4th pick
What stops them is having to delist an extra player prior to the draft. Pick 79 is useless and they would lose that anywayCorrect and as I mentioned to 4tunes8 some pies mates of mine said they will delist a few more and trying to offload cox, thomas and Sier
Most likely they make a deal on draft night as you said but what's to stop them making that deal prior, for example, 27 and 79 or a future 5th for 38 and 40
With the recent offers from us and Adelaide, I imagine that the potential #1 draft pick must be better than Dusty, Judd and GAJ combined.RICHMOND has made a massive play for the No.1 pick in an attempt to supercharge its rebound up the ladder next year.

No clubs are going to trade for Cox and Thomas when they will be delisted. No news on any interest in Sier but Max Lynch is likely to be traded to the Hawks
That will mean the Pies will have freed up 4 list spots but would have delist 2 of the following players if they go with the pick swap prior to the draft,
Isaac Chugg
John Noble
Jay Rantall
Brayden Sier
Maybe in Richmond's best interest to that trade earlier by definitely not to Collingwood's advantage unless we offered more.
