100% can’t see Freo going a vic over a local when they’re a similar talent. Especially after losing Cerra. Reckon Erasmus is a Monty to go to the Dockers

The more the draft gets closer the more I think we end up with Rachele which will be a great pick

He is a good size 183cm and 81 also being a september kid he will probably get to 185cm 85-88 kgs

Hobbs is everything we need and is the rare type of inside bull that can rest forward. The perfect Cotch replacement.

I have warmed up to him now. The 4-minute highlights compilation showcased what he can do much better than the one on the AFL website. Still don’t think we should go up the draft order just to take him (as one of Erasmus, Ward, or Hobbs will be available and I’d be happy for us to take any of them), but definitely have changed my stance against picking him.

- asked about him , played his cards close to his chest, he’s contracted atm , and we are respectful of that. My read - we are interested

Cumberland will stay uncontracted through the draft. But did say he was unlucky not to play last year

Tom Mitchell- asked if we were interested. I think Blair spoke to him but only to say we aren’t interested or something like that

This morning I went down the rabbit hole that is 90 second highlight videos of prospective draftees. Making me both up-to-date and an expert.

Wouldn’t mind one of Gouter, Hobbs, Ward, Rachele, Gibcus or Erasmus. Ironically least blown away by Callahan.

We won’t be getting a flawless player by any means at 9, but we will be getting a very good prospect regardless methinks.

Think it was Mathew lloyd who said that for Now Hobbs is better than Callahan but Callahans potential down the track is far better than Hobbs.

I posted earlier this week in this thread that there was an article in the West Australian that WCE and the Dockers were both heavily into Rachele. Particularly that they weren't put off by the fact he's
Victorian. Soo if we wanted him, it's likely we'd have to use our first, if the Dockos don't take him with the pick before ours. 8/10 of their bnf were Vics so the Cerra thing hasn't put them off at all it seems.
