Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
we still need a tall forward. Lukas Cooke looks interesting, nice skill set but a bit lean. I wouldn't mind a punt with one of our later picks.
yeh i saw that, WA absolutely dominated, he had limited opportunitiesPretty ordinary in the state games.
Gibcus sounds pretty handy. If he reaches the tigers pick looks solid down back long term kpp with balta? Tarrant with his time to develop too
If you took him @ 7 you can take a mid @ 7
Wouldn't be upset with any of
Horne.
Callaghan.
Gibcus.
Hobbs.
Ward.
Andrew.
Rachele.
Erasmus.
Pick 7 / live pick 9 looks a decent position

Hope so. Guarantees one of Ward/Hobbs/Erasmus will be available.15 *
It sounds like Gibcus and Andrew might be gone by 7
Sounds like T.Browne is on here...
What about the last train out of SydneyI’m on the Hobbs train… and the Ward train… and the Callahan train… and the Rachelle train… and the VR train… and the Erasmus train… and the..
Funny how you look at things. I reckon Ross has great hands and plenty of time and sets players into space. He is also a good tackler and strong. I would watch early Ross as opposed to the one we saw the last two years to get a better opinion. Has been moved around from pliiar to post the last two season.
How can you make such a natural centreman into a half back the following year.

Gibcus would be a good pick up but if we are looking to be in the mix this year then i see him hardly playing in 2022. He wouldn't be ahead of Grimes, Robbie, Balta, Broad, Vlas, Short, Dan and Stack
I personally think Callaghan will be a star and reckon we should trade 7,15 and norths future 2nd to get him
If Gibcus is going well enough to get a game you could play him backline and push balta higher up the ground.
Given the tigers were daring enough to bid for pick 1. Moving up for calla seems possible if they rate him
So there is not one good tall player in the whole country. I know we have had a rough year or two with not a lot of junior footy played, but they must be out there. If we go past a tall and pick a small then maybe our recruiters, who know a fair bit more than us, agree with you. But I would hope that we prioritise a tall over a small this draft if the quality is there.why would you want to waste a good pick on a mediocre tall?
Johnson looks like a key forward to me. Same height as Jack, 194-5cm, his cousin and a whole lot of key forwards. This is who i think we might get for the first two picks.
Pick 7 Johnson. I think some of the better ones might be gone and Johnson may be seen as more suitable/ready made for what we need and a safer selection to. We could put him on a wing without necessarily putting him in the guts from the start so RCD, Ross and others still get their chance. He compliments the others and has versatility allowing rotation and Prestia and Graham etc.. can still do their thing to. He moves a little different to RCD so I do not think they are necessarily competing for the same spot and both could have different roles in the team
Pick 15 JVR. I just think he will not last as long as some suggest including the fact KPP, as a general rule, are not that plentiful, The ability to play forward and back is appealing. In an eighteen team comp its hard to find types that can fit into mixes and provide options and such versatility cannot go underestimated I think. He is only 194cm but he has size
This is more about players suitable for where RFC is at. Other types we can get via Free agency/trades and further down the track in other drafts and helps our list become more well rounded
He doesn't have to play this year, a year or two developing and plenty of spots will open up.If Gibcus is going well enough to get a game you could play him backline and push balta higher up the ground.

They a great highlights of what Ross can do.How impressive was Jack awesome
Also 5,16 balta in the ruck wow
Really want Hobbs.I'm happy with our picks at the moment:
Pick 7 - Hobbs/Gibcus/Rachele
Pick 15 - Van Rooyen (if we are interested) otherwise Sinn/Sonsie/Roberts, possibly Wanganeen-Milera
Only reason you'd offer 15 + whatever for Saints 9 is if we aren't interested in Van Rooyen and we vastly prefer Johnson or Goater over Sinn/Sonsie/Roberts.
Pick 26/28 - Nevitt/Butler/Bazzo/Williams territory - or trade to sh*t clubs for future seconds or upgrade of our future seconds to their firsts.
Pick 38/40 - Again, either trade for overs or else "We were pleasantly surprised to find XXXX available this late in the draft. We rated them a top 10 talent and still can't believe they lasted this far."
XXXX may or may not be a player any of us have even heard of.

Is he really ready to go? He weighs about 85kg as a KPDThis thread needs more Leek Alleer.
Ready to go and would allow (can't believe I'm saying this) Balta to play up the ground....
You'd have Grimes and Tarrant taking the big boys.Is he really ready to go? He weighs about 85kg as a KPD
Most players go up and down. Petracca had disposal averages of 17, 18, 20 and 18 in his first 4 years and he played pretty much every week. They a great highlights of what Ross can do.
If he was only played in the middle more last year.
He is only 20
Time is what they need, continuous footy.
