I meant in frame and quick feet, 70kg's with a light frame. Naish was pretty impressive at junior level but didn't have the ability to build on that frame. OratsioHe's nothing like Naish. Clearance machine, more like a lighter-framed Meatball or a shorter Zac Bailey. Brilliant little player, I'd love him with one of our 20s picks. Prefer to Taylor.
My pick for 17, assuming no unexpected sliders.
Don't see much difference between him and Howes.
Bit small, bit Naish like but does have good toe. 15 would be something of a stretch surely.
We re talking a mid with our first , no doubt about that , they’ll be plenty good enough to warrant 7 pick , don’t you worry about thatIf we get to 7 and all of the gun mids are gone and we are thinking of Andrew, I'm honestly trading that pick 7 back for two picks in the teens or a teens pick + a future first from someone. No way am I taking Andrew at 7, way too much of a risk.
Easy to say that however Higgins junior credentials were outstanding with better midfield numbers that rochelle. We don’t need a small forward with our first pic that would be plain dumb , if avail at 15 go our hardestHe is much better than both of them, especially Lennon and can play midfield as well. Classy player who looks like a definite top 10 pick. I would have no problem if we picked him.

Naish is not quick. And always a flanker, a terrible combination for AFL footy unless you're a gun at everything else like Vlastuin (still probably quicker than Naish). Murley is a genuine centre square rover. And he is quick.I meant in frame and quick feet, 70kg's with a light frame. Fantasia sort of player, quick and elusive but never going to be a clearance machine in AFL due to size I'd think. Looked all class though.
Owens is an interesting one. You'd be taking on upside that he does become that bull. St Kilda will match anywhere outside 20, but someone might well pull the trigger earlier.Owens will develop into an inside bull.
Howes is flanker.
Rachele is far more talented. Roughly 10,000x better kick. Higgins was basically a fulltime pro in his draft year, dominated and still slipped because teams saw his limitations. Matt Clarke said one of the things he liked about Higgo was him overcoming his limitations. I hope he's learned from that mistake.Easy to say that however Higgins junior credentials were outstanding with better midfield numbers that rochelle. Rochelle won the MVP as a midfielder at the under 16 carnival, did Higgins do that ? I don’t know why but the Bushrangers played him permanent forward this year so not his fault his midfield numbers aren’t better.Easy to say that however Higgins junior credentials were outstanding with better midfield numbers that rochelle. Personally i dont think its a good idea to piss of StKilda by biddingWorth it to give st kilda the shits

These twits will probably take Biggy with their last pick just to get even
There's something about Williams that reminds me of Hawkins from Geelong that I really like. Bazzo looks a little quicker and mobile, possibly more suited to the modern game, but will he end up a defender? Both appear to be able to read the play well and have a footy IQ.I like a lot, whats your thoughts on Williams vs Bazzo?
Higgins was All Australian 2017 u18s , incidentally so was naish and CCJ . As I says it’s easy to sit in the beanbag before someone’s played a game and say how good they are . Higgins will play 200 games,,,,ohhh did i mention he WON GOTY once or it didn't happenRochelle won the MVP as a midfielder at the under 16 carnival, did Higgins do that ? Among many other things this also hammers home the importance of a 'No DH policy', no wonder there's such a thorough interview process these days

Pretty easy to sit in the bean bag and knock a kid as well, I would prefer to look at the positives rather than write them off before they have even started. I am just pointing out as have others that Rachele has more attributes (quicker, better kick and better mark) than Higgins so there is no reason he can't be a good player.Higgins was All Australian 2017 u18s , incidentally so was naish and CCJ . For me yeh, definitely over Andrew. Although Rachelle at 7 might be a bit of a reach at 7 from what I've read.

I'm not a huge fan of 180cm Rachele, we don't need another undersized midfielder and it's pretty rare forwards that size become Toby Greene esque. I don't think I'd invest pick 7 in him either.I'd prefer Andrew to Rachelle @ 7
Assuming Gibcus. Hobbs. Ward and com are off the board.
Which mid? Sinn would be a bit of a disappointing result?
It appears Rachelle is unknown as a mid.
They others are being talked about as maybe being available at 15 so it would seem a reach @7

For me pick 7 has to be one of the prime elite mids, Gibcus or an elite KPF, if that's Amiss then so be it.
I'm still leaning Hobbs, Ward, Erasmus type at pick 7 is ideal for us.
