Thoughts?
Rachele was #6 to the crows. Knevitt #18 to swansI would take that
Where did Knevitt & Rachele get picked ?
I think come the actual draft, Taylor is more likely a 15-25 selection than 25-40. Admittedly, in the actual draft there's probably a live trade wwith your 20's picks further up which may mean you get him in the early 20'sYou didn't factor in that we have three picks in the range that you rightly rate Taylor?
It's more to do with what I expect of Small Forwards than it is to do with Rachele, his positives are obviously immense and it's true that as a forward he does things that no one else can do, just a genuine x-factor player. I'm really strong minded with wanting small forwards to have a solid defensive/ pressure game, doesn't have to be outstanding but can't be a deficiency, and that's pretty much my only question mark on Rachele, without that defensive side I get too many Troy Menzel flashbacks. Now I do expect Rachele to end up better than Menzel obviously, but for the range he's being spoken about in for selection I'd be really hesitantRachele rating was the interesting one for me , Love to know why so low

Yeah Greene's pretty accurate, but I think Greene has a defensive game. Both can play as inside mids but are arguably their most impactful in the forward halfThanks for the response
Players that come to mind are obviously Toby Greene & Chad Wingard when considering Rachele as i believe he has some good mid potential rather than just a small foward. How would you compare these 2 payers at the same age as Josh and its hard to compare potential to an established talent but do you not believe that the same level of potential is there with Rahcele ?

No way we trade up for Taylor. I think your rating is closer than your prediction. But it's a raffle around there - I have guys like Butler, MacDonald, Owens, Wilmot, Draper and Murley all ahead of him.I think come the actual draft, Taylor is more likely a 15-25 selection than 25-40. Don’t let that stop you thoughI'm a nuffie with too much free time.

He was playing HB not centre and was injured in 2 games. Therefore his possession rate was lower as would be expected.Sinn’s average of 17 touches a game is a bit of a red flag for me. Obviously amount of touches a game isn’t everything, but generally speaking, the kids who struggle to find the ball at underage level only struggle further in the big league
No you’re not the only one. I think JVR is a pick 40+ and I will be upset if we pick him with either of our first 2 picks.Am I the only one not too keen on JVR? Seems like he'll struggle at AFL level - from the small sample footage I've seen he seems pretty cumbersome.
Lacked focusWhat the hell went wrong with Troy Menzel? One day he was an up and coming star and the next he’s traded to Adelaide and out of the league not long after.

Can confirmYou shouldn't, I'm a nuffie with too much free time.
but thank you regardless
Which podcast?
Howes is 100 times more likely to go top 20 than outside 30. If we let him get past our picks Clarke should be sacked.
Not a fan of JVR at 17, don't need both him and Williams, and too many small smalls.
That's my thoughts.

His got the best hands and mark by a mile in the draft and we can settle him forward or back had a great year in colts.
Gibcus, Andrew, Williams, Rachele all better hands and marks. His got the best hands and mark by a mile in the draft and we can settle him forward or back had a great year in colts.
If you took van Rooyen and Gibcus. With some luck could have chf/chb tied up for 10 years ... (?)
And he can't jump. And his kicking under pressure is dodgy.I completely agree with your sentiments about Gibcus and would be very happy to draft him but I don't see it with JVR. He appears to lack pace/acceleration and I think he would really struggle to get seperation in the AFL especially with AFL level zonal defending - no anti density like in the juniors (not sure if that applies in WA).
IIRC the same things were said about a young interstate KPF when he was coming through and and us old timers would remember there was one particular poster on here who was devastated when we took him at pick 13 many years ago.I completely agree with your sentiments about Gibcus and would be very happy to draft him but I don't see it with JVR.
