Twomey stated that the Giants are willing to trade pick 13 for either a future 1st or a 2nd and a future 2nd.

Definitely would do that, we trade pick 28 and a future 2nd tied to us (we also have Norths's 2nd next year). So, we still have a 1st and an early 2nd rounder next year.

Nah I don't think we'll pick either Amiss or Motlop.

My solution to this unbearably long delay for the draft is simples. Trade period starts Monday after grand final lasts 48hrs only including free agency. Kids do the combine the week after the Grand Final and the Draft is the following week. Trade period is a farce that could honestly be wrapped up in no time as hardly any players move. The draft is in a couple days and it's been dragged out for so long I barely give a sh;! any more. The draft should be held way before school exams and not sure if it's under 19 moving forward or back to under 18's. If it's staying under 19's then how many kids is it really affecting their studies. 90% of the kids drafted are pretty certain they're gonna get picked up anyway. This 2 day draft has whiskers too. It's not the NFL where there's 32 teams and 300 kids get drafted and a team is practically supported by an entire state of fans. We should be excited for the draft. Everyone I speak to is so over it.

Get Ward at 9 and then trade up 17 to 13 so we can get Sinn too.

Then pick up Ward's buddy Ned Long later in the draft.

That would be like winning the lotto.

Problem with draft before year 12 exams is you get stories of guys like Tarrant (pretty sure it was him) who head to their English exams after getting drafted and write Go Pies before walking out

I tend to think we should be looking at Johnson at our first pick.

He looks to have everything we need, and enormous AFL upside in terms of size, composure, distribution etc.

Doesn't sound like he makes it to pick 15. Would be good to get another pick between 10 and 15 using our collateral.

Mac Andrew won't get anywhere near 13. Most have him locked in at pick 5 to the Suns.

Seriously!!, this Green infatuation is worse than ever. He’s the new Luke Parker to Richmond rumour every year for the next 10 years! Imo, we will never have him on our list as he’s a Sydney lad who is very happy where he is. And besides, GWS won’t let him go
