Unless we’re confident we can get king next year or get a good key forward next year even then development wise it’s late

How good is to be less than 24 hours from the draft and not know who our 1st pick is going to be!

Conca, Vlaustin, Lennon, C Ellis and Vickery all leaked before draft day.

Now we get linked to guys we have no interest in eg) Stocker.

I wonder if that means we are going for a Johnson or Erasmus who are in that same talent group but we've not been linked to at all?

Summers definitely was. Edwards proved to be a March champion who couldn't deliver when the real stuff started.

Dream result for me is that we take Gibcus at pick 9. Hobbs then slides through to Essendon's pick 13 so we trade 17 and 30 for their 13 and 51 and take him. We then trade pick 29 and a future second (would probably have to be North's) for GWS' pick 15 and take Sinn.

What I’d like to see, is the ability to choose any screen you want. I want to see who is cursing when players get picked or laughing or feeling stupid etc etc.

I am not really fussed with who we get at 7 (9). I am sure that it will be a good player that fills also fills a need. What I am hoping for is that the picks between 9 and 17 shake out Neil Erasmus. If not Erasmus, then Goater or Sonsie @ 17

Club recruiters don't red forums.
The list managers under their advice create a list of what they are looking for.
As the draft gets nearer they have no idea as to what will unfold as one club changes mind last minute can through everything out the window.
Now on the night, they have the list which they have worked on with the priorities set but in brackets the could be. We want a Ward but we think hawks will take him before us hence we have to go plan b. It can also work another way as the one in brackets is the one we really want but didn't expect them to be available. Lists are made of could not want.
What I want us is to keep what we have as in the past we know that our top picks have failed miserably but the lower picks have brought the fruit eg Broad so on.
Let's wait for the night see what we get and wait for the season to start and hope a couple can make it from the start as we need some fresh faces to regenerate the list.
Don't worry about the possibilities as it will do all your heads in lol.

Need tall forwards even more there really is only JR at 33 and Lynch at 29 at least we have Balta in defence and Miller and Nyuon as projects.

Imo if Rachele is there at 9 we will grab him he is exactly the type we have targeted and seem to value above all others.

Personally until a trade of picks actually happens then im looking at it like we have 9, 17, 26,27,28 83.

If the club is true to its word then it will be best available with the first two. That could well mean two mids and we address some talls with the picks in the twenties. It just depends if we rate the talls in front of what mids are there.

might get lucky and snare Bazzo or more likely Alleer at 26, Probably look at Williams here and i reckon Howes would be a chance as well.

Id be happy if we got
9/ Erasmus/Hobbs/Johnson

17 Goater/ Bazzo/ JVR. Might be both talls are available here and list needs scream at us but i really rate Goater highly.

26 If we dont have a tall at 17 then id really hope Bazzo slides to here but imo i think freo will snare him with 19.If its not Bazzo then possibly Alleer

27 again depending on what talls we have taken. If no forward has been snared then i would seriously consider Williams here or best rated tall fwd left.

28 i like the look of Howes a 191cm forward or we take the best slider would like a player like Chesser or Knevitt here as well if they get that far.

But I think Balta should play CHF, still the most important position on the ground, and if last year was any evidence, our weakest position.
