It might have been nice to get Hobbs but I think missing out on Hobbs and getting Brown, Sonsie, Banks and Clarke has worked in our favour

Interesting that we really wanted Hobbs, and tried to get him several other times.

And Eagles looked at Brown, and he was gone to the Swans if we didn't take him.

So our picks were very much the guys going at or earlier than where we took them.

Looks liek we were pretty much the most active tam this year in trying for trades. In the end though I reckon we did well.

Good to see the tigers being aggressive. Also trying trade up for Horne

interesting read. sounds like the guys did (offered) what they could but ultimately i reckon they would've been disappointed with how in panned out.

Not in the sense that the kids we got aren't good picks etc but ultimately it looks like we got 'good' or 'fair' value for our picks but we wouldve gone into the day undoubtedly hoping one these trades went through and we scooped up two of that initial group.

All that said, I'm personally happy with our haul but considering the hand we had was hoping for slightly more.

Freo win the draft imo by some margin, but hey time will tell

We were keen too

Judson Clarke not a bad consolation.

It will be interesting to see how Kai turns out just to see if our scouts were on the money.
