Does Power rate this year's draft significantly higher than next year's, remembering that trading up in a draft costs a premium?

That’s true, but any points deficit will come off their 1st pick next year, so if
you do fancy someone this year you may as well trade next years 1st for an
early 2nd rounder.

Does it come off the remaining 2nd/3rd Rd picks?
They could be using 2 years worth of picks for him
Lipinski trade for a 3rd could help but not sure what else they have

Gibcus at live pick 2 is a really interesting one. Personally I feel he is more of a need to GWS than what Finn Callaghan is and can settle that KPD stocks for the next decade.

Same token I think Schlenslog as a more mature age KPD out of South Freo would be a sound 2nd selection and insurance for Phil Davis

Giants definitely after 2 KPPs this draft and if they are keen on Gibcus we will hear about pick 2 on the market as that would be too high for him and SOS is not around for the reaching picks
I cant see the club not using the pick on Callaghan and then depending on who the recruiting team rates looking at other KPPs in the teens and 20's or lower
