Josh Ward/Zac Taylor < Wil Ashcroft. With Josh Ward out of reach, I have a new favorite to follow now - Zac Taylor.
Just 180cm but has a strong skillset with kicking + speed. Wins a lot of footy to go with it, looks a great prospect. Hope we get him.

I think the damage was done before he got there .From what I have heard one of his predecessors was at the pies is not the world's greatest record keeper and struggled with spreadsheets etcThat Guy at Collingwood was possibly even more incompetent than Paul White and Peter Nolan at the Broncos, he's potentially put Collingwood back 10 years.
Very much a Zorko feel to himWith Josh Ward out of reach, I have a new favorite to follow now - Zac Taylor.

Apologies but what game?Young Jaspa Fletcher playing in the U19s Qld side tomorrow morning. He believes he's starting on the wing.(from horses mouth)Great effort.
v the tassie devils i believe?Apologies but what game?
Anyone know if the game will be streamed?
Report today in the Herald Sun had Ward between that 10 - 15 mark (even though he may go higher)With Josh Ward out of reach, I have a new favorite to follow now - Zac Taylor.

Ward should be top 5 if you take out Darcy and Daicos.Report today in the Herald Sun had Ward between that 10 - 15 mark (even though he may go higher)
If he's still avaible when the Lions pick, I would be calling his night out as quick as possible.
Pretty good list.Well with not a lot going on and me being more interested in the U19's games this weekend than the grand final I thought I'd try and put together a top 20 for this years draft. First time putting one together and this isn't a prediction of who goes where on draft night, just the order in which I rank these guys. Quick disclaimer, I don't watch as much underage footy as a lot of the draft watchers and the way I view players can and will change by the time the draft comes around. Here we go:
1. Jason Horne-Francis
2. Nick Daicos
3. Finn Callaghan
4. Sam Darcy
5. Ben Hobbs
6. Josh Ward
7. Mac Andrew
8. Josh Goater
9. Neil Erasmus
10. Matthew Johnson
11. Josh Sinn
12. Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera
13. Tyler Sonsie
14. Josh Rachelle
15. Jye Amiss
16. Arlo Draper
17. Josh Gibcus
18. Rhett Bazzo
19. Campbell Chesser
20. Darcy Wilmott
A couple of guys very close were Jacob Van Rooyen and Matthew Roberts.
If I were ranking guys from a Brisbane point of view taking into account our current list then that could change things a little bit, main changes would probably be putting guys like Goater, NWM, Sinn and potentially Johnson over Hobbs and Ward, maybe raising both Wilmott and Chesser a little bit also. If we decide against bringing in a mature age ruck/forward I've come around to the idea of maybe trading up a little for someone like Mac Andrew, would take a couple years but could have an impact similar to someone like Luke Jackson in a position of need.
If Gibcus fell that low I would hope the Lions would jump at that opportunity. Intercepting defender is highly valued especially by Fagan. With the notion of Starcevich going into the midfield Chesser would be someone similar but there is also some more run and carry. I wouldn’t be surprised if we pick someone who isn’t one of those on the BF boards top 20.Well with not a lot going on and me being more interested in the U19's games this weekend than the grand final I thought I'd try and put together a top 20 for this years draft. Yeah Draper is interesting, definitely got the athletic ability to play on either flank, I think he'll be very inconsistent at least to start off with showing really good flashes but not piecing it together for a while, looking forward to seeing how he goes this weekend with more responsibility.Pretty good list.
Personally I don’t have Darcy, Andrew or Johnson as high as you do.
Draper I’ve got real questions over his position at AFL level. I believe he’ll be a half forward who struggles to impact through the midfield. He’s got the physical gifts, but I believe he’ll struggle to impact the game if he’s not in a team with a dominant midfield and forward line.
Yeah I think the main reason Gibcus is that low for me is I don't think there's a great deal of difference between he and someone like Bazzo who would be available a bit later in the first round. Also if we were looking at someone to replace Starcevich in the backlines personally I'd have Wilmott ahead of Chesser for that role.If Gibcus fell that low I would hope the Lions would jump at that opportunity. I can see your point but our track record of trading picks is frankly diabolical. I would just sit and use the picks. I am actually leaning away from using it on a KPP unless they are Amiss or Gibcus and they slide. Basso and JVR are not really even spoken about as that pick 20 range and are KPD. Draft for talent and trade for needs. Yes, I know that we don’t have depth in those positions but we’ve done ok thus far. Next year, Daniher will be 28, McStay 27, Hipwood 25 so all 3 KPF’s have 4 years minimum. Andrews will be 25, Adams 29, Payne 22 so again a number of years we should be ok. I am not saying we will not rectify this in the coming years but as long as the people we draft are not a ‘reach’ and we get the best players in at those 2 picks. Should free up some $$$ next year so we can always look to trade in players of need.If Melbourne win on Saturday and we get pick 20 after bid matching, I wonder if we'll use it to trade down with a club who want an NGA player. If we rate someone who will still be available later, it's an opportunity to earn a few points for next year.
