There’s some speculation that the Pies are targeting Dylan Stephens from Sydney. Pies 2022 first round pick for Dylan Stephens and pick 31.

If they do carry over a small deficit in to 2022 it would then come off their 2022 second round pick.

Just seems like they are going all in on stupidity.

It worked so well last time I suppose. Do the pies have another F/S in 2022?

Can't see Feo doing that. They would want 14 and 18 for Cerra.

Obviously, It's pretty clear that Cerra is worth 6 plus something. However, he's out of contract.

They're essentially in a position of getting whatever Carlton offer (as douchebaggy a thing that is to do to another club, we should know) or getting nothing but making a noble stance. Carlton have a bit of history. The Jack Martin trade was total scumbag stuff.

Hopefully it works out the way that's fair & Freo get 6 plus something for Cerra.

Craig McRae has only three years to turn club around
Don't like his chances lasting more than 2 years if this type of trade eventuates

Yep Blues can offer pick 14 and Fremantle can't do much but accept it. That trade also wouldn't be feather worthy

Anyway is Carlton confirmed?

At least Adam Treloar may get some revenge on his treatment come GF day
Only really works if the Dogs were about to beat the Pies in it. That might be one of the few times I'd be cheering for the Dogs.

Not really.
He moved to a team that will finish at least top 2 and will likely finish top 6 for the next few years at least
Better than playing in a bottom 2 side that did not want him

Collingwood going to use numerous picks to get the points for Daicos but also want to get in Lipinski from Dogs and possibly Weideman (Dees) and Stephens (Swans)!

Someone with decent value needs to be tipped out of the club or they are talking rubbish. Can't possibly get it all done and not damage their draft for 2022. If I was a Collingwood player of value I would be nervous right now - who they going to tap on the shoulder?

They might take the view that getting youngish players in this year via trade, that won’t cost a lot, is worth sacrificing next year’s draft, if they’re capped out for next couple of years.

They will get Daicos and Dib this year, plus the 5 kids they drafted last year, and 3 youngish players in. That’s 10 players to get games in to next year and 2023, before going to the draft in 2023.

Don’t particularly agree with such a strategy, but it might be the only hand they have, until their salary cap issues are sorted.

It doesn't make sense. They want young players yet they traded Stephenson to North last year for practically nothing.

That Guy at Collingwood was possibly even more incompetent than Paul White and Peter Nolan at the Broncos, he's potentially put Collingwood back 10 years.

He has just been trying to clean up Gubby's mess. We have seen how long it took for us to come out the other side of his special kind of incompetence.

Might have been a mess made by Gubby, but appeared from the outside like Guy added his own special sauce.

Zero chance we can get him but Horne-Francis has looked great for South Adelaide today, to go along with his size and athleticism his ball use, composure and class has really stood out, looks like a great all-round prospect.
