Pick 12 + Jase of interest. We seem to get phantom drafts and rankings from every Tom, Dick and Harry these days. I find them a bit repetitive and boring, lost interest completely this year due to our terrible draft hand.
pick 12 is of interest, but i haven't seen any of these kids play so i'm clueless as to who we should be picking up. But i do think it should be the best available midfielder.Pick 12 + Jase of interest.
Then late on Thursday we will get to pick 63 and for the scraps.
Friday arvo for the rookies which in a weak draft year we could pass on and wait to what happens in 2022.
A mid under 180cm with poor decision making and kicking. Pass. Hopefully he does go high, before our pick, so there's an extra player I wouldn't mind getting still available.ESPN (Chris Doerre/Knightmare) final top 20 rankings.
Angus Sheldrick is a new name who has bolted to 11 in his rankings. His weaknesses are a concern.
![]()
11. Angus Sheldrick
Best position: Inside midfield
Height, weight: 179cm, 88kg
Recruited from: Claremont
Projected draft range: 25-late
Plays like: Lachie Neale
October ranking: Outside-20
Rationale: Building his draft resume late in the season, Sheldrick has earned a reputation as this draft's ultimate competitor. From winning a midfield matchup against Horne-Francis during the Under-19 Championships, to copping a physical beating in the WAFL Colts Grand Final and still playing to an arguably best-afield standard, Sheldrick's close to the season has been among this draft's most impressive. A contested beast, Sheldrick led the Under-19 Championships for contested possessions, averaged two goals per game during the WAFL Colts finals and has displayed a serious burst of acceleration at stoppages.
Strengths:
Performances on the big stage
Competitiveness
Aggression
Toughness
First possession winner at stoppages
Contested ball winning
Distribution by hand
Strength to shrug tackles
Strong tackler
Burst of speed with ball in hand
Receives on the move at high speed
Scoreboard impact
Two-way game
Negates the influence of opponents
Work rate
Weaknesses:
Inconsistent kick
Poor decision maker with ball in hand

Massive over reach for what is essentially a man child who beat up on the lightly built SA u18s. Late 2nd to 3rd i would have thought.A mid under 180cm with poor decision making and kicking. Pass. I've landed on Sinn has the most upside in my opinion could be anything.
As bad as the lahdams trade was I think the 4 pick upgrade has got us in the top bracket.
I wonder if 33 was an option instead of the future pick but we were worried about were Jase would be bidded on?
Very fast, solid defensive skills but questionable disposable. Really solid defensive small.
*Part of the Krakouer clan I notice as well so there’s that as a plus maybe?

I'll concede that there might be some typos in The Hun's list, for example:
Body Woodcock, Southport Sharks
I don't know if this year's delisted players have to nominate, but Trent Burgoyne and Hamish Hartlett aren't on the list. If so, they've got 15 minutes left as I type this.
EDIT: It looks like they do have to nominate:
Wednesday 17 November by 3.00pm – Delisted Primary List Draft Nomination Form Lodgement; Non–Retained Rookie Players NAB AFL Draft Nomination Form Lodgement; Players Not Registered or Played for 3 years Rookie List Form lodgement; International Players Inclusion on Rookie List Form Lodgement; AFL Father-Son Bidding Nominations lodged with AFL
NAB AFL Draft Nominations close

Best preview for us that I've seen yet.
Waack.
Puncher.
