RICHMOND national recruiting manager Matt Clarke says there are four players in line to be taken with its first selection at Wednesday night's NAB AFL Draft.
Clarke said the Tigers, who currently own pick No.7 which will likely be pushed out to No.9 following father-son bidding, would keep a simple strategy.
Speaking on AFL.com.au's NAB AFL Draft Countdown, Clarke agreed one of Josh Gibcus, Jye Amiss, Josh Ward or Ben Hobbs would likely become a Tiger.

key is first point - very versatile - that's a danger, ok at most things, elite at nothing, the old utility type description.
Not fussed about trading in Luko. Given what it would cost, I wouldn't be basing our list management strategy around the idea.
That's my thoughts about Luko. He was drafted as a forward who was described as the second coming of Nick Riewoldt. He's now playing as an okay rebounding KPD. If we spent two first round draft picks for that, I'd be fuming.I'm not saying he's a pleb, but Trent Mckenzie is a better player right now and we got him for a bag of chips. Unless Luko turns into a genuine gun Defender, he's barely worth a 1st. We don't need defenders who aren't top tier defenders. We have already got Aliir as the 3rd KPD who penetrates with his run and carry. We have Bonner who doesn't really defend. We have Jonas who doesn't really do much of anything. Someone actually has to defend. Spending 2 1sts for a guy who would only be a 3rd KPD right now is batshit crazy. You might as well take those 2 firsts and spend them on these KPPs in the 2022 draft I keep on hearing about. Play Todd Marshall as the tall guy who can't defend but has a good field kick.
no couldnt see him, but who's this guy on nominees list - Zak Pretty, Port AdelaideIs he in this draft? That's what I was referring to.

So a semi-utility. Still doesn't sound like someone we should spend two first round draft picks on.Dew said lukosius is playing as a forward next year. He actually said a combo of deep forward, high half forward and wing. It doesnt really sound like what we need, but its a new role.
Sounds very Sportingor Luko and Clarko to Porto next yearo

On paper your 110% correct BUT haha Port have been known to pick one from left field before leaving you with that I’ve never heard of him look on your faceAt pick #12 no matter which way the earlier picks go, a quality player will fall our way.

Works hardery for longery.Pick whoever:
Can kick on both feet
Is not short
Is not skinny
Can run all day
Can tackle
Cannot be tackled
Can find the ball
Can win contested possessions
Has blistering pace
Regularly goes forward to kick goals
Thanks
Even if he gets picked up before our pick I’m sure we will be talking to him in a couple years time.Josh Sinn on 5AA stated he wants to be a part of Port Adelaide! Words spoken include “fingers crossed” and “dream come true”
Get it done Geoff!
