Hey guys, scuse the intrusion. Thought you might like to have this resource on your board (mods might like to sticky):

 
I haven't seen enough of all the candidates but I don't want Wanganeen.

To me Hobbs looks like the quick reflexed inside/outside type of mid we need. Looks like there's a plethora of taller mids around our pick which I don't feel addresses our issues, but who knows how good they good become given there's some speed amongst them.

But hey, as long as it is a balanced NATURAL mid I'm happy. No pure outside.
 
Don't know that NWM and Burgoyne being a similar types is a issue so much as we may feel that Nasiah is potentially a much better footballer in which case we grab him.

Issue is do we think he's a better than Sinn?

Sinn looks likely to develop an inside game?

I've always been a big wrap for Nasiah but I don't see a inside game and I really think he's a fair bit higher in the draft than I thought he would be for what he's showing so far.

Twomey is convinced by his top 6- JHF (NM); Darcy (WB); Callaghan (GWS); Daicos (CL); Andrew (GC); Rachele (AD). The fun will start with Hawthorn.

From the Richmond guy’s comments Gibcus Amiss Ward and Hobbs look likely to fall 7-10. Erasmus would also go to one of the WA clubs, you think leaving Sinn Wanganeen-Milera Goater Sonsie and Johnson to go 12-16.

I'm not saying he's a pleb, but Trent Mckenzie is a better player right now and we got him for a bag of chips. Unless Luko turns into a genuine gun Defender, he's barely worth a 1st. We don't need defenders who aren't top tier defenders. We have already got Aliir as the 3rd KPD who penetrates with his run and carry. We have Bonner who doesn't really defend. We have Jonas who doesn't really do much of anything. Someone actually has to defend. Spending 2 1sts for a guy who would only be a 3rd KPD right now is batshit crazy. You might as well take those 2 firsts and spend them on these KPPs in the 2022 draft I keep on hearing about. Play Todd Marshall as the tall guy who can't defend but has a good field kick.

That's my thoughts about Luko. He was drafted as a forward who was described as the second coming of Nick Riewoldt. He's now playing as an okay rebounding KPD. If we spent two first round draft picks for that, I'd be fuming.

Dew said lukosius is playing as a forward next year. He actually said a combo of deep forward, high half forward and wing. It doesnt really sound like what we need, but its a new role.
