Speaking of bloodlines . Gavin is not a blood Wanganeen , he took his step fathers name . He’s more related to Nasiah Milera Wanganeen on the Milera side .
Gavins mother is a Davey and his father a white man Turnbull from Mt. Gambier

Many years ago I heard his old man is a Turnbill.

The blood line is his maternal grandpa Dick Davey a gun footballer from the far west coast town / mission of Koonibba. Aaron and Alwyn Davey were Gav's first cousins and he urged Port to draft Aaron when he was still playing for Port.

Whilst he has a very nice kick, I think he is too similar to Burgoyne and not a player in an area of need for us. He would be lower on my list of who I am keen to draft.

Does Leek Aleer come into consideration at our pick 16 if we hold onto it and it isn't involved in a pick upgrade with Sydney. Mature ager but probably best key defender in the draft and we are seriously short in that department with all of Jonas, Mckenzie, Clurey and Pasini being undersized and the two former players being in their twilight years.
