Road to the draft did their first phantom today, wanganeen milera went to west coast and we took sinn. That’s a good outcome for me.

You sort of have to wonder how Sinn has managed to slide even with injury. As much as I like NWM Sinn reads like a real solid student of the game and a great work ethic. That and a left foot with a 100 metre carry and kick you would think West Coast would be all over him. Being " forced" to take him if NWM is gone could end well.

I agree. Maybe a bit of out of sight out of mind. Or maybe he has only slid in the minds of draft watchers and the media and is still set to go high.

Wouldn't be upset with Sinn or NWM but I think we'll take Sonsie. Mid-fwd is more of a need than wing/half back. Sonsie has class and x-factor. His 2019 highlights:
His 1 VFL game this year he had 24 disposals | 15 kicks | 9 handballs | 1 mark | 5 tackles | 5 inside 50s | 4 rebound 50s | 2 goals. That shows his talent is still there.

Any of those 3 would be good I've flipped and flopped over Sonsie and Sinn .

He reminds me of Sam Gray

Sonsie is probably the direct fix but Sinn imo will be a better midfielder long term.

Sinn hardly has a bad game and has solid skill sets without a booming left boot and probably has the most upside and untapped potential between the two (only played 7 games in the last 2 years and was a potential top 3 pick till he goes injured).

Sonsie has the x-factor and has some Petracca like attributes. He can break games open but there's a huge gap between his best game and worst game.

If recruiters think Sinn can breakthrough as a midfielder then I'd definitely pick him up ahead of Sonsie. Sonsie might even be available at pick 20s

Yeah it's Sinn for me aswell as long as we see him being a mid don't need half backs

If we draft a half back this year I think i will melt. It would be a Sinn for sure.

Houston will never be a mid, he is a far better defender. L.Jones is an unknown at this stage. Port need to draft a midfielder.

But then again, it would be classic port, just add another defender to the list. I’m convinced Hinkley is just trying to get the full list as defenders

Twomey and Shehan don't have Sonsie going in their first round of 21 picks. I'm assuming port traded up to be in the top bracket of picks which is 14 or 15 if you include 🐐 Goater.

I wouldnt be shocked if we traded into the second round for Motlop.

If we get another half back (Sinn) then trading Houston next year should be top priority - was a little bit shocked it wasn't more on the cards this year tbh
