I like to look through the list of draft nominees each year for the most amusing/weird sounding name - Wylie Buzza was probably the funniest in recent years. Of those drafted last year, Phoenix Spicer rose from the flames to probably take the prize, rookie listed Malachy Carruthers sounds like a villain from a Harry Potter book, while pre-season SSP grabs Deakyn Smith's and Rhyan Mansell's parents deserve a good slap.
The name that always stood out to me was Didymus Blanket. Was a potential draftee about 5 years ago. Wanted to draft him on name alone.
Is it Xavier duursma's brother draft age yet?
Just a thought. Given we now have an extra key forward in Finlayson is it possible that Mitch G could play through the midfield and learn the role. He has so many footy smarts, attributes similar to a Fyfe type. Good engine, athletic quick can take a grab etc.How do you see a wines drew roberts midfield working together? Any concern about speed / spread from stoppages and containing other quick stoppage mids?
Or think we can get around that by rotating butters / rozee / Amon / Bergman through the middle and splitting those three up when needed ?
Or just not see it as an issue?
I’ve brought up that with boak and gray near the end that’s nearly 10 clearances a game we need to replace.
Reckon grays (as a impact guy rather than starter through there 3 clrs get collectively replaced by improvement and more midfield time from butters drew rozee Amon and co.
But we still need a top clearance player that can get those 5-7 clearances a game for life post boak. But I do worry about balance with that mid not being too similar to wines and drew.
I’ve only watched 2 games from ward, what would he be like as a fit for our midfield?
Bloody ages away... Thank you2005 so two more years.
Zane and then Willem not long after. Both very likely to join their brother in the AFL.2005 so two more years.
Your forgetting we don’t develop forwards. Why can't we just allow Georgiades to develop into our number 1 forward?
I reckon we should turn him into a half back flanker. Can't have too many of those. Why can't we just allow Georgiades to develop into our number 1 forward?
No brother/brother rule though.Bloody ages away... Thank you
By the time the draft and sh*t comes around the only people who give a sh*t are the hardcore dickheads like us.... Bring the sh*t forward!!!

Dam kids need to get there priority right... Football>>>>>school.Isn't it held that late so the kids doing Year 12 can finish their exams in peace before being shipped off to their clubs?

So uninspiring I can't even picture him and barely recall that GC had a Shaw in their team, and definitely can't remember them having a Matt, other that Matt Rowell play for them.Knevitt reminds me of Matt Shaw who played 100 uninspiring games for Gold Coast.
