I like that they looked at a few options with our first pick and some interesting names with a late pick.
Is it you who thinks Kade Dittmar might feature late for us?
Apparently Geelong will be getting our pick 23Any more talk of us going after the Bulldogs pick 23?
Obviously they want to then on trade it for a 33 year old. (Yes I realise players can't be traded)Apparently Geelong will be getting our pick 23

My Guess is they are trying to get Tom Brown just fell short of the Father/son ruleObviously they want to then on trade it for a 33 year old. (Yes I realise players can't be traded)
By my calculation Geelong have a pick 50 that they don't have the list spots to use.
We should be offering them something minimal for that.
Hard to see how we do it though if we want to trade our first rounder into this year.
maybe we are keeping that option open to see who falls.
Matt Rendells notes.

A recruiter’s notes on the AFL draft crop of 2021
“Not a big head.” “Never seen a player get from contest to contest with such ease.” “Good luck tackling him.” Nick Daicos was one of the under-16s assessed by former Collingwood recruiter Matt Rendell back in 2019. Here’s what he had to say.www.theage.com.au
Campbell Chesser not too much discussion about?
A meniscus injury stuffed his year up but does read the kind of player you might trade a pick in for if he slides?
Is Matt Rendell a better list manager/recruiter than Gary Buckenara?
Matt Rendell's trade radio performance was so bizarre, he earned his own Tom Browne-like translator account

I reckon Rendall was told to sex it up by Hutchy. He went off on some rants about players that he never did all year on Hutchy's other production - FootySA. Gotta say something controversial when there isn't much stuff different to say for 12 hours a day over 10 days or so of Trade Radio, to try and get people to tune in.They probably thought he'd be an upgrade on Terry Wallet because, you know, he had actually been a list manager/recruiter at a couple of clubs![]()
They mention Josh Ward potentially sliding to us too. If that happened I instantly withdraw all criticism of the Ladhams trade.Players available at our pick according to Fox:
Wanganeen-Milera
Goater
Sinn
Johnson
Sonsie

What is your dream scenario Macca? You’re a big fan of Sinn?Ward falling to us would be start the car time. I cant see it happening but it would be amazing if it did
What is your dream scenario Macca? You’re a big fan of Sinn?
Can you post your rankings?Dream scenario would be someone like Sinn (4 in my rankings) or Ward (7) falling to our pick. That would be excellent. Sinn I think ultimately will become the better player but Ward is a definite need and a clear Boak replacement as well. Would be great.
Later on i'm hoping that there is a player from my 20's or 30's that falls through. Dream scenario would be someone like a Josh Browne, Connor Macdonald or Ned Long falling through to our next range of picks.
Draft is very even from the Crows pick to ours so they should be sweating. Hopefully the draft falls right and we get another star to add to our premiership pushI think it's a strong possibility our first pick will be a better player than our neighbours first pick and they are getting nervous about it![]()
