No doubt they'll be competitive as they usually are but they are lacking polish and class and it won't be there for at least 2 more seasons. Too many teams on the cusp of very big improvement who will be vying for 6th-8th positions . . . . Carlton and Western Bulldogs for starters. Gold Coast are also a better team than Hawthorn.

Literally, the last time Hawthorn took to the field they destroyed Gold Cost by 50 points ...

Win-loss records probably all out of whack but this'll be what I think the final ladder spots will look like.

Carlton to be this year's team to fly up 10-15 spots and get a top 4 finish

Brisbane to pull it together and win the flag. Daniher to be the recruit of the year.

Final four:
Prelim1:
St Kilda/Footscray
Prelim2:
Brisbane/Carlton

St Kilda/Carlton GF, with Carlton taking #17

enjoy!!!

Hawks beat the Dogs and flog the Roos and go down in your estimation.

What was required for them to just have held ground ?

You do realise we will still beat you. Again. For like the 20th time from the last 21 outings ?

This is based on gut feeling at this current time. I will post plenty more predictions as the months pass by

1. Brisbane (Best Forward Line, one of the best defences and one of the best midfield in the league)
2. Richmond (Simply unstoppable at times, but will drop a few games)
3. St Kilda (Huge risers, potentially a candidate for the 2021 flag)
4. Collingwood (last chance as their list is getting old)
5. Western Bulldogs (Upcoming risers, won't be out of the 8 for a while)
6. Carlton (Same Scenario as above)
7. Port Adelaide (Will fall down a couple of places, however, their best is unbelievable)
8. Geelong (last time you'll see Geelong in the 8 for a few years)
9. West Coast (very stiff, however, it'll be because of injuries)
10. Gold Coast (upcoming risers, pencil in a top 8 spot for 2022)
11. Melbourne (Nomans land)
12. Sydney (upcoming risers, however, need possibly another 2 years before threatening the flag again)
13. Fremantle (amazing coach, wouldn't be surprised if they make the 8 in 2021. this is the worse possible outcome)
14. Adelaide (rebuilding)
15. Essendon (rebuilding)
16. GWS (Fall from grace, lost a lot of talent and injuries will come again)
17. Hawthorn (rebuilding, however, will take nearly a decade to be premiership contenders again)
18. North Melbourne (lost soul, however rebuilding)
No chance Collingwood are finishing 4th. Not a chance.

You really do take these predictions too seriously.

You also take the practice games too seriously.

Saints will be hard to beat at Marvel. Wont be the same story elsewhere.
Port will win a lot of games at Adelaide. Good side away from home. Almost my premier, cant go past Richmond.
Richmond, how can they not finish top 4? An amazing side.
Dogs, midfield is elite, best in the comp. Key positions strong, no forwards though.
Carlton will improve, but they wont play finals based on two handy pick ups. It will good for footy if they do.
Collingwood will fall off the cliff early.
Essendon - s**t.
Gold Coast could finish higher, just a wait and see.
Dees, might sneak in IMO. But they tend to be their own worst enemy.
Sydney, good kids, rebuilding.
North and Adelaide, may as well fight it off for pick one. Should also start penning their letters to the commission stating their case for a priority pick.

Top 4- Richmond, Geelong, Brisbane, Port

5th to 7th - West Coast, Collingwood, Dogs

8th to 11th- St Kilda, Carlton, GWS, Freo

12th to 15th- Dees, Essendon, Suns, Swans

Bottom 3- Hawthorne, Crows, Roos
