Saints will be hard to beat at Marvel. Wont be the same story elsewhere.
Port will win a lot of games at Adelaide. Good side away from home. Almost my premier, cant go past Richmond.
Richmond, how can they not finish top 4? An amazing side.
Dogs, midfield is elite, best in the comp. Key positions strong, no forwards though.
Carlton will improve, but they wont play finals based on two handy pick ups. It will good for footy if they do.
Collingwood will fall off the cliff early.
Essendon - sh*t.
Gold Coast could finish higher, just a wait and see.
Dees, might sneak in IMO. But they tend to be their own worst enemy.
Sydney, good kids, rebuilding.
North and Adelaide, may as well fight it off for pick one. Should also start penning their letters to the commission stating their case for a priority pick.
Well done on placing the Giants in two separate positions on the ladder, and forgetting my team completely...

Alarming thing is how little faith club captains have with Carlton and Melbourne. Only one club captain placing them in their top 8.

Also alarming how AFL journos on the AFL website didn't tip Richmond to win the premiership. Majority tipping Port Adelaide and a few tipping Brisbane and Geelong. Only one Journo tipped Richmond to lose the Grand Final.

So, the players who actually play tip Carlton and Melbourne to bomb. The journos who write the narratives in the paper tip Richmond to fall. If I was a betting man, I'd be tipping with the players and against the journos.

So you would rate Adelaide as improving ahead of Hawthorn over the last 4 months?

I dont think Ive taken anything seriously. Mockingly perhaps.
I don't think Hawthorn are any good and think they'll finish bottom 3. You don't. One of us will be right, one of us won't. It's just a prediction/opinion. Don't get so triggered.

Premiers: Port Adelaide
Runner up: Richmond
Coaches to go: Buckley (mutual agreement), Goodwin (sacked), Longmire (cant be bothered anymore so he will retire :tearsofjoy:)
Teams tracking really nicely for 2022 final 8 assault - Carlton, Freo, Gold Coast
2021 Headlines we may see -
Hawthorn's veteran clean out finally arrives.
Collingwood at it again (trade and draft time).
Buddy and Sydney come to payout agreement.
Future Blues legend retires, Eddie leaves Carlton and the game in a better place than when he started.
Not again!!! Geelong's right to host a home final against Richmond torn away from them by the AFL once more.

*apologies if i have already posted this on here, i couldn't find it, and have it on different websites.

🤨

Scully, Frawley, Stratton, Puopolo, Smith, Henderson all retired or elsewhere at the end of last year.

My guess is the top 4 will be different to last year. The amount of people who predict the same but different order every year is quiet surprising. It is usually a team outside the 8 who comes in too.
Richmond , Brisbane , Port , Geelong

I really cant see how these teams miss on top 4 and with only West Coast a slight possibility to threaten

GWS have a nice draw and for mine are all in for 2021. In my head teams like Carlton, Gold Coast, Freo and Sydney are 'one year away' so would not be surprised if any of them jumped up.

That's the point. The ladder at the end of 2019 was like this.

Geelong
Brisbane
Richmond
Collingwood
WC
GWS
Bulldogs
Essendon
Hawks
Port

Port came from no where to get into the top 4. It would only take a few key injuries to one of the top team or a bad run of form to drop them back to the pack. Sport is such a confidence thing, once you get on a roll or bad run, it becomes easier to sustain or very hard to get out of it.

That said, it's bloody hard to predict the future.

Here's mine.

Port
Geelong
Freo
Brisbane
Bulldogs
Richmond
Saints
Carlton
Melbourne
WC
GC
GWS
Hawks
Sydney
Essendon
Collingwood
Adelaide
North

Just looking at our injury list and the draw I'm predicting the Eagles to struggle in the first 6 weeks but come back into top 4 contention the last half of the season.

Playing some tough sides early with several key mids unavailable.

May be pleasantly surprised with O'Neil, Jones and Duggan filling the void but won't be too surprised if we were 2W - 4L or 3 - 3 after six rounds.
