Will be interesting to see if any are 1st rounders , The Name Wanganeen just makes you think wow

couple from Hawthorn

Nate Dear - was a good junior, then quit footy, but people are saying he might be back to playing footy and might pop up on a NAB League list? (Paul Dear)
Louis Thompson - Bendigo Pioneers (Nathan Thompson) skinny raw kid

Jase Burgoyne - looking around the late first roundish mark atm. Personally i love his work and think he will explode next year to assert himself as a definite top 10 pick.

Dogs also have Sam Darcy and Kai Dimattina.
Not sure if any of ours are good enough to be drafted.
Think Darcy and the West twins have mostly played school footy.

Burgoyne’s the top FS prospect for me.

Daics is the most publicised here in Victoria but Jase (and Tex Wanganeen) would have the most runs in the board and are more meritorious.

He was available and undrafted this year. Does that exclude him from future f/s nomination?
Under normal circumstances yes it would (or it has in the past). It wouldn't surprise me if they changed it for this year given the disrupted year the U/18s have had.

The only requirement under the current rules (other than being a son of a father) is that the player hasn't previously been on an AFL list.

Is Nate or Louis a chance to get drafted or more a rookie pick if any at the moment.

Nate was a star under 15, but got turned off footy. Remains to be seen if he can follow the pathway back to the AFL draft.

Louis sounds like more of a late/rookie if anything.

Josh Misiti, Tex Wanganeen, Alex Hird and Nyawi Moore (Nathan Lovett-Murray's son) spotted at Essendon training today.

All turn 18 this year i believe

I also believe that Brodie Edwards is eligible this year, but considering past experiences between the club and Tyson I can't see any chance that we use a father-son on him.

Surely that is dependent on talent identification.
