Play them through the week you'd think?
Only 6 teams though, puts them at a massive disadvantage and will require a massive reconstruction of the next few rounds. Bye I reckon.

Surely the best solution is just making this a split round essentially and get those 3 other games done next weekend, wherever the hell you can manage that (WA hub?). Pretty shit for the 6 teams players who miss out on a proper bye week but better than making them play mid week then back it up next weekend.

All three QLD games postponed. Best 18 won’t help. I’m f’ed. GG.
On a positive note, COVID has solved the clash problem. COVID, at least, always gets that right unlike the AFL

Best 18 doesn't work when this many teams don't play. Has to be round called off
They can’t do that. How do you fit four weeks of SC finals in to three weeks of football.

Nah. Get them on the plane back to Melb before 4pm and play all three games tomorrow. Two at the G, one at Marvel.

Hmm was thinking of a trade that required me to shift Laird from DEF to MID but I might hold off now until I know what's happening with SuperCoach this round

It would be nice to get some clarity before that game. I have Rowe on the bench currently without an E who could cover if it comes to that.

Supercoach Premiership is awarded to all teams that have had Toby Greene and Callum Mills after all the shit they've put every coach that has them through.

What a farce.

This round is thoroughly comprimised and no doubt we will hear nothing from SC HQ before the dogs game starts.

Round has to be cancelled in fairness to all unless those Qld games can be played in Melbourne tomorrow.

This makes the most sense so you can pretty much lock in that it won’t happen. Reports are they landed in QLD refueling and taking off to WA.

Oh good. I look forward to the retrospective Premiership and cashie payouts from last year. Nelso

You’re joking

Only one thing the HUN can do.

Call the SC season off & pay, just a random number here, say the top 8346 $50K each.

Thanks Rupe!

If they did call the round off I guess they could allow all the SC grand finalists trades from players not involved in the finals to players in teams playing in round 1 of the finals. Can't see it happening though.

From an AFL point of view, they have to find a time to play these postpones games and it will be hard if the finals are to go ahead on the scheduled weekends. Is there still a bye week after round 23? If so they could do away with that and split this round over 2 weeks, with the postponed teams having their rest this week and the others having their rest next week. That would also fix the SC round as it would just be played over 2 weeks.

It all comes down to how the AFL handles it's problem though. Getting the 6 teams back to Melbourne and playing their games over the Sunday, Monday and at the latest Tuesday would be the best solution.

One thing I'd put money on .... If this round ends up just being the 6 unaffected games, SC will go with best 18. They've already set a precedent for doing that regardless of the unfairness.
