Discussion 2021 Fixture Changes , including Byes

Just looked at my bye structure.

I have -

4 premos missing round 12

6 premos missing round 13

7 premos missing round 14

I have 0 premos missing across all 3 rounds

Counting proposed Rd10 & Rd11 trades my squad will contain 21 keepers + Jordon by Rd12 and proposed Rd13 & Rd14 trades should give me 18-20 playing all rounds with at least 15 keepers for each round. Much of these plans revolve around rookie availability during those rounds, so it's not set in stone by any means but...

15 keepers + 3 to 5 rookies in Rd12
15 keepers + 3 to 5 rookies in Rd13
16 keepers + 3 to 4 rookies in Rd14

you would be more screwed if you hadnt looked until next week.
You have a bit of time to swing it back your way.
I think your being overly optimistic not counting fyfe and sharp as donuts every week.

Thought I'd see how i'm going with the byes coming up. This is not the first time i've checked... and I've known for some time now that my bye structures are completely screwed.

So with that said, my trading has been focussed on having a complete team after the byes.

Keepers:
R12 - 12 R13 - 8 R14 - 12

Total (Played last round)
R12 - 21 R13 - 14 R14 - 16

R13 and 14 is a complete sh1tshow and I don't even care!

Round 14 is piss easy, you can do 3 trades during the byes. 1 down 2 up is the goal in rounds 13 and 14, that solves a lot of problems.

Also remember, most teams will have Gawndy, so likely to have no playing rucks round 14. So maximum 21 scorers that round, but we're all in the same boat there.

Yep, this is what I'm hoping for, one of them to be worth enough to downgrade to Jones round 13/14.

Hinkley is being a campaigner this season though, will pick him this week and spoil that plan.

Yeah agreed. Rounds 13 and 14 will be a great chance to move up the rankings as plenty will be fielding less than 18 imo.

We'll all cash out Flynn and then he'll play and score 150 round 14.

It really does not matter how much planning you do for the byes as we all know the SC gods will screw you over well before then.

So I really do take no notice of what people are saying in this thread in regards to how many keepers they will have in the bye rounds.

First bye round is probably the biggest issue for me.

Assuming some rookies hold their spots I'll have 18+ before trades, however I'll be missing;
Stewart, Jiath
Jelly, Titch
-
Ziebell, Impey

The issue is besides Boak there's no one from that bye round that I want to trade in for round 13. Titch and Jelly have dipped but I already have them.

Could have 17 playing before trades, intended on getting Boak in and was planning on sideways trading Daniher, not many options I like that have already played though, Greene was my original plan but he's dead now, Hawkins was an option but has priced himself out.
Might just get Boak in and fill the kitty up for the next round.

Round 14 should be ok. Will use all trades to get as many as possible that week.

Was for the trade the 2 last week's, but I already had a full forward line at the time. Round 13 is far too late to get on that train.
