I averaged 2k+ the last couple of years so more of that would be great, but 1900+ is usually a good result.

I budget for 7 or 8 trades during the byes, and usually 2 the week after. Assuming you are full premo for the last 8 rounds, 7-8 trades should be enough from there.

You can definitely make up ground in the byes, although the coaches that consistently rank highly know how to play it so there is less scope near the top of the rankings.

If you are ranked 20k, you could easily half that if you play the byes well.

I averaged 2,000 across the byes in 2019 and rocketed up thousands of places to land just outside the top 100 coming out of them. I’m surprised more don’t plan for the byes.

Not necessarily. Hanging on to a few of the better rookies that have solid js through the byes is helpful.
