Bulldogs have a top 4 list easily next season, Saints are heading that way too, and Carlton and Collingwood are definitely in contention for the 8. Throw in the Crows who will play their two grand finals against us and it’s really not that amazing. Would rather have got Brisbane and West Coast twice to be honest as I think they’ll drop off.

Anyway, bring on 2021! At least the time slots for the first 6 rounds look decent, besides the Sunday 6pm home game.

An interesting thing to note: the Essendon v Richmond game, which you would assume is in Indigenous Round is Round 12, so later than usual and 6 teams including us have a bye for it. I don't like that. If you're doing Indigenous Round all teams should be part of it.

So just following up on this, it would seem that Indigenous / Doug Nicholls round is actually Round 11 (A few presidents mention their fixtures for the round in here https://www.afl.com.au/news/538899/fixture-breakdown-double-ups-byes-what-your-club-says), meaning everyone plays, and we actually get a home game for it versus Freo. Which is great.

Also means the Dreamtime at the G game isn't in the same round which is pretty bizarre scheduling, but I like it.

Finally a home game against the wobblers. Everyone should rock up in the PB’s

chiwigi this is our moment. We need that crowd co-ordination idea to get off the ground for this.

A few thoughts:

- Double ups are good, all strong teams but nobody we shouldn't be able to beat.

- ANZAC night game should be pretty cool. Is the Monday a public holiday?

- An already locked in Friday night game is nice, I assume all going well we'll get a few more with some if the matchups we've got scheduled.

- Commercially it looks pretty good. Plenty of bigger teams at home.

- I was hoping the West Coast v Port Good Friday game was going to be a "thing", but we've been punted for Adelaide v Gold Coast. God forbid a non-Vic tradition is built up.

The ANZAC night game in the prison bars will be amazing!

The only top 6 team we double up against is St Kilda? Plus the beaten elimination finalists.

As good as we could ask for!
St Kilda finished 5th, Collingwood finished 6th at end of the finals to determine the draft order.

So we double up against 2 teams x 1st-6th band, 2 x 7th-12th band (WCE 7th carlton 11th) 1 x 13th-18th band.

Round 3-7 is a tough block.

Time for a 17+ games win season.

Including finals wins, under Hinkley, we have won 10, 11, 12x2, 13, 14, 15, 16 games in his 8 seasons.

Ok last year was a shortened season, but take that form into 22 games, its time to win at least 17 games in a full season.

How bad is this list of games you won't want to miss?

There's hardly any on that list that are mildly interesting.
FMD, Fox Footy rated the Port v Richmond game the #1 home and away game when they started filling the post season with their top 20 games count down, the Port v Richmond PF was a better game, and as good as any final in week 1 of the finals this year, and the braindead work experience kiddies at AFL website still cant find a place for it in their top 20.

Are you telling me that Ben Rutten solely in charge of the Bombers won't be interesting? Nathan Schmook disagrees.

Average percentage of double-up opponents: 98.22 (ninth-easiest)

Pros... Did the AFL forget they finished on top of the ladder? The Power get much easier set of double-up games than their fellow top-four finishers... naturally they get two games against the Crows, but two against Carlton, Collingwood, St Kilda and the Bulldogs aren’t brutal either, if not simple... their only games against Richmond and Geelong are both in Adelaide... just one interstate trip in the six-week block between Rounds 8 and 13... they host a game on Anzac Day which is a special treat.

Cons... West Coast in Perth and then hosting Richmond back-to-back is a pretty tricky six-day block early in the season... really very little to complain about here though.
