Odds are set by the bookies then driven down if lots of people start buying.

Same, I'm bullish on this year. I feel as though the stars are aligning and most of the barriers to success of the last few years (decades) are gone. Things will click into place rapidly and up the ladder we will go. Watch the media freak out about our meteroic rise culminating in the Cripps signing and our maiden flag in 2022.

Yep you are bullish, and fair enough. I mean we sacrificed Jesse Hogan on the alter at the end of the last season, to appease the footy gods !!!. Maybe it will all come together.

Agreed, the only reason I can see for us pursuing Cripps is if one of vic mids requested a trade home. If we are successful enough this year, I can’t see that happening.

I am not vey optimistic about finals. But we really have to make it. As long as we still have Fyfe and Walters at top level. And we don't want to get caught in the treadmill of rebuilding and rebuilding...
